Travis Campbell: We cant sit back and expect someone else to represent us better than we can represent ourselves.
And now, this group wants to start funding politicians.
Politicians who hold their view that America needs little to no gun control.
Travis Campbell: Any law that is passed is more likely to effect someone such as myself, a law-abiding citizen, more so than a mass shooter.
NAAGA? I thought I mis-read..
They might want to change the name of the organization to something that won’t be at risk for misinterpretation when the acronym is pronounced.
My point of view is that African-Americans, above all others, should be opposed to gun control.
Go to Charleston, SC and walk around the residential area toward the battery. You will see a number of homes with high walls around them and 8-inch + steel spikes on top. The residents were terrified of a slave revolt.
How long do you suppose slavery would have lasted if the slaves had been armed??
“Only an armed people can be truly free. Only an unarmed people can ever be enslaved.” - Aristotle
Never mind.
NAAGA?
Really? NAAGA? That is one unfortunate acronym.
NAAGA Please!
I was listening to the radio last weekend and there was a talk show with the NAAGA guy explain the organization, and it all sounds great, very pro-gun/safety/fun/positively social oriented, EXCEPT.....why black only? WTF? Really? I mean they sounded like a great group to hang out with, except it sounded like I’m not invited.

I briefly worked for a gun dealer years ago.
Some of our best customers were older black men who owned homes in parts of town where civilization had collapsed.
I wish NAAGA well.
While Im working, I listen to firearm related podcasts. Lock and Load with Bill Frady and We Like Shooting.
Quite often they have guests on their shows similar to this group, but not them specifically.
Black Guns Matter and Second is for Everyone are two off the top of my head.
I highly recommend these podcasts for anyone interested.
There was a black woman, I cannot remember her name, who was instrumental in forming the NRA...
My personal image of a legal “gun owner” of any color is that of an American exercising his/her 2nd Amendment rights...
For a second I thought this was the National Interests of Gun Associating Africans.
If you were an anti-gun activist, members of this organization would fall under the heading of “people who annoy you.”
Guys, do you really want to be called naaga? I think you should let the NOW gang have that name.
