President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday that he would not testify before the House Intelligence Committee unless committee members voted to remove Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) from the panel's chairmanship.
In an interview with The Washington Post, the former New York City mayor stressed that he was taking the White House's position that Schiff's congressional committee was illegitimate, and revealed that the Trump administration would soon release a formal statement concerning the Intelligence committee.
“I wouldn’t testify in front of that committee until there is a vote of Congress and he is removed,” Giuliani said, referring to Schiff. “Let them hold me in contempt. We’ll go to court. We’ll challenge the contempt."
“The position I’m stating is now the position of the administration,” Giuliani continued.

Rush was all over this today. POTUS got real bad advice and tried the cooperation route with Mueller. Now he’s learned his lesson and is telling the Dems to get lost.
The fact that President Trump was SO nice and cooperative with Mueller HELPS HIM NOW.
PDJT is pointing out how outrageous all of this is. If he balked at Mueller, he would not be able to be so honest with Schiffgate.

Rudy is a great legal mind and probably only second to Trump in his genius understanding of strategy.
