Last night House Intelligence Committee Democrats released a series of selective text messages from testimony given by former U.S. envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker.
They make President Trump look very bad, even engaged in a quid pro quo with Ukraine.
But they're hiding the context of the messages and the full picture by refusing to release Volker's full testimony. Republicans have repeatedly requested it be done and Chairman Adam Schiff is refusing to do so.
One key fact about yesterday’s closed-door witness interview?
Republicans are the ones calling for public release of the deposition transcript.

There's a reason why Adam Schiff released cherry-picked text messages and not the transcript of the Volker interview. It's because he's misleading. Again.
The actual interview directly undermined Democrats' impeachment effort.
Release the transcript. Show Americans the truth.

As Julio reported earlier, Volker's full testimony was reportedly a flop, which may explain why Democrats don't want it released.
When the American people get to read the transcript of Ambassador Volker’s testimony, they will see:
-No quid pro quo
-No pressure
AND they’ll see that everyone involved was working both for America’s interests and for the success and security of Ukraine.

Wonder why Schiff and the democrats demand Trump release any and all documents while they want to hold back?
Again, it goes back to why Trump won’t declassify documents that expose the democrats. If the democrats even sniff that there may be something that harms Trump, they jump up and down for full disclosure.
The democrats fully understand the value of withholding and declassification.
On a related subject, Trump should demand Schiff release notes from Schiff’s supposed briefing from his staff on initial whistleblower contact.
