Internal divisions within the White House are straining staff and should be considered a sign of an "impending disaster," as House Democrats prepare to launch an all-out impeachment effort against President Trump, says Joe Lockhart, a former press secretary for the Clinton administration.
"Theres a split between the presidents aides and the vice presidents aides. And that is always a sign of impending disaster," Lockhart said Thursday on CNN's "New Day."

Why does the “news” think anyone takes this seriously?
I for one believe nothing I hear from Joe Lockhart nor from the Fox News daytime lineup.
I never thought Pence was a good choice.
He’s been adequate. Not stellar.
Newt would have been better- if he promised to stay in line. He has a much much stronger voice.
Joe Lockhart?
Only Faux News is stupid enough to believe this.
“Oh no!!! It’s all over!!!!!”.......Again
No - but Pence is a milquetoast when it comes to standing up for our liberties so if its him or Trump - Im Trump all the way.
Remember Pence is at the forefront of the RFRA debacle and singlehandedly led it to disaster.
Lockhart is Bill Clinton’s former press secretary.
That’s all you need to know.
Faux News quoting Fake News.
You actually believe this crap?
Seriously?
I can’t believe anybody on this forum, at this late date, would fall for demonicRAT disinformation.
The impeachment train seems to be stuck in the station and they are have no idea what might make it go.
Well we read them here all the time and then go on to say how it’s all fake and no one believes them and they have no audience.
But if all that was true, why would they show up here? :)
Horse Hockey.
I agree with you 110%. Never watch day line up.
Its be interesting if Pence would stand down for re-election.
The problem is who would replace him? Giuliani? Pfft - Paul Ryan? (Although Romney might be an interesting strategic choice - although thatd be another coup in the wings)
I think pence will be VP for 2020. I think the nominee after trump will be another outsider. The Bush mistake will not be repeated by the base. Personally I like Miller. It must be someone who gets into the mud.
Romney? A house divided cannot stand.
People think that the office of vice president is basically the office of “president lite”. Fact is, they are two completely different jobs. One can be a great vice president but a lousy president, and vice versa.
Try to visualize Trump as vise president. :D
totally believable - because no doubt the first thing Trump and Pence due after talking is run to Joe Lockhart to tell him what’s going on
