I never thought Pence was a good choice.

He’s been adequate. Not stellar.

Newt would have been better- if he promised to stay in line. He has a much much stronger voice.

You actually believe this crap?

Seriously?

I can’t believe anybody on this forum, at this late date, would fall for demonicRAT disinformation.

It’s be interesting if Pence would stand down for re-election.

The problem is who would replace him? Giuliani? Pfft - Paul Ryan? (Although Romney might be an interesting strategic choice - although that’d be another coup in the wings)

I think pence will be VP for 2020. I think the nominee after trump will be another outsider. The Bush mistake will not be repeated by the base. Personally I like Miller. It must be someone who gets into the mud.

I don't trust Pence at all. Your comment sums it up. He does JUST what he needs to do to appear loyal to Trump...but that's all. He doesn't seem to go out of the way to defend Trump or his policies.

Pence being selected as Vice-President was the main reason I began to warm up to Donald Trump as the nominee.

I was much more comfortable with Cruz, Paul, and Huckabee, but when Trump picked Pence, I felt sure that there would be strict-constitutionalists picked for the federal courts. And, it seemed to telegraph that Trump would govern as a conservative.

Pence is a rock-ribbed conservative.

Pence is a nice balance.

Newt is better on the outside.

I make the assumption that you don’t buy the BS being put out on this, but simply think Trump could have found someone better than Pence?

Yep. Well Trump’s personel selections in general have not exactly been stellar. We will see how Barr turns out.

... if he promised to stay in line.

Yeah what were the chances of that?

I haven’t heard or seen Pence being anything but 100% behind his President....except in these leftist-spawned hit pieces.

UHHH, say you do understand a Vice President is only chosen if he or she is bland vanilla and has NO controversy surrounding him at the time he was chosen or at anytime in his past.

I like Gingrich, but he was a very polarizing figure and would not helped Trump at all.

Why do you think the Vice Presidency is described as not being worth a bucket of warm spit?

I would like to see a Trump/Giuliani ticket. Wouldn’t that cause liberal tears to flow?
