Internal divisions within the White House are straining staff and should be considered a sign of an "impending disaster," as House Democrats prepare to launch an all-out impeachment effort against President Trump, says Joe Lockhart, a former press secretary for the Clinton administration.

"There’s a split between the president’s aides and the vice president’s aides. And that is always a sign of impending disaster," Lockhart said Thursday on CNN's "New Day."

If Pence doesn’t want to be Vice President, wasn’t Plan A from back in 2016 Gen. Flynn?

s my dad used to say an Ex is a has been, A Pert is a Drip, so an expert is a Has been drip... Joe Lockhart is a has been drip

Similarly, the word "politics" was invented by the Greeks, from "poly" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking parasites.

It was - briefly the National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump - but now a convicted felon, and ineligible to be VP.

Even back in his Clintonoid years as spokesmoron, he was a failure. He’s also a Fake News CNN ex-scumbag.

Pence had his moment of truth when the Access Hollywood tape came out. He could have resigned from the ticket and inflicted fatal damage to the Trump campaign at that moment. Instead he stated he had reservations about the language as did Trump since he apologized for any offense but stood behind Donald Trump all the way and rode the campaign to victory. Pence earned his political stripes at that crucial moment.

What is your obsession with Romney? He stabs President Trump in the back at every opportunity. Why make it easier for him.

Pence can stay on as VP but I do not think he has what it takes going into 2024. The left will play his Christianity against him and he will kowtow.

Agreed and we really don’t know if he even wants to run in 2024.

I would like to see a Trump/Giuliani ticket. Wouldn’t that cause liberal tears to flow?

For the life of me, I can’t think of any reason that those three would even be considered.

Pence is the most loyal person he could have ever picked and Trump knows it. He’s the backbone of the presidency. The whisperer....... he has counseled the president thru thick and thin. Only political neophytes can’t see that........

My Hoosier friends were in a tizzy about this and also the fact that early on he was on board with Common Core.

Can he pick Trump for VP?????

He cant pick Trump for VP. 2 terms as POTUS. No 3rd term as VP since it could become POTUS. I don’s know about speaker of the house but I am certain about VP since I also had that Q and researched it and it is part of the no third term amendment. I don’t trust Pence as he has deep state stink and surrounded himself with deep staters and I don’t trust his instincts because I have seen him step on his own d!ck many times.

Never use “Always.” Never use “never” when describing the action of others.

Just because it’s been an issue with Democrats, it doesn’t “always” mean it an issue with anyone else.
