Republican congressional leaders accused Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Democrats of rigging the impeachment scheme after news broke that Schiff was in contact with the whistleblower before the complaint against President Donald Trump was filed.
The report from the New York Times claimed that Schiff received an “early account by the future whistleblower” days before the person filed the complaint accusing Trump of presidential misconduct.
The report seemed to be confirmed by a Schiff spokesman, who said: “Like other whistle-blowers have done before and since under Republican and Democratic-controlled committees, the whistle-blower contacted the committee for guidance on how to report possible wrongdoing within the jurisdiction of the intelligence community.”
Schiff said during a Sept. 17 interview on MSNBC that he did not have “direct contact” with the person who filed the complaint.
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), the minority whip, was among those reacting to the news, telling a Fox News reporter that he was “deeply concerned” that the whistleblower went to Schiff’s staff instead of waiting for the CIA whistleblower process to work through its conclusion. The person, who has not been identified publicly, reportedly filed the complaint initially with the CIA.

Ah, "in contact with" is such a bland, low-key way to put it. I'll bet you good money "coaching" or "guiding" or "instructing" or "directing" is far more accurate. This is a political hit job pure and simple. Every 'rat signing on to it should be forced out of office - eye for an eye, just what they're trying to do to the President.

It's time for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee to make a criminal referral for Adam Schiff, his staff, and the CIA agent who conspired with them, to the Department of Justice.
As an attorney I would recommend the fake "whistleblower" seek an immunity deal in exchange for testimony against Schiff & Co.

2017 - Chairman Devin Nunes was suspended from the House Intelligence Committee for almost nine months after being accused of providing information to the White House. He was eventually cleared by the House Ethics Committee.
2019 - House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy wrote: “Chairman Adam Schiff just got caught orchestrating with the whistleblower before the complaint was ever filed. Democrats have rigged this process from the start.”
The rules should be applied equally and fairly.

But once this reaches the general public....there’s at least two dozen Democratic House members in a marginal win situation who will stand up and privately say something to Pelosi.
It’s not just the impeachment thing failing at the Senate, but if Schiffy is detained/charged, it makes this whole strategy worthless. It’s just a plain old fashioned coup, and Trump will bump that via Twitter for the whole next year.
