“blockage” = infarct = heart attack

but sounds like he was stented really quickly, so heart damage SHOULD be minimal, though at his age the whole ordeal will probably take some starch out of him, AND he should undertake cardio rehabilitation for 12 weeks, three times a week.

Maybe caused by:

Sanders hauls in eye-popping $25 million in past three months

He can retire comfortably now.

It’s over for Comrade Sanders! Now focus shifts to Fauxahontas. She is not the frontrunner of a very weak field of RATS. Wanna bet there will be more allegations coming out now about her using her “Indian” heritage to gain other things in life. It is all setting up well for the return of Shrillary and possibly the appearance of Moochelle too!

I wonder if he’ll receive any lectures about socialized medicine while he’s hospitalized?

Rush Limbaugh just asked which hospital in Havana Bernie is in so that he can send flowers.

To require two stents in one artery indicates the lower anterior descending or circumflex as most likely given their long lengths

Could be wrong..I was incorrect just last night here

Amarin’s Drug Vescepa which currently is labeled for high triglycerides greater than > 500 is looking for expanded label in December based on their Reduce-it trial. That five year 8,000 patient trial showed an 30% reduction in Heart attaches and strokes for those on a Statin vs Statin alone.

It isn't entirety clear exactly how Vescepa works. Fast forward to a 3rd party Amarin sponsored study “Evaporate” which is ongoing but will have a nine month interim read out next month. The basis for the trial is if Vescepa reduces arterial plaque. I'm 100% positive that it will show that (based on Japanese studies of the same active ingredient in Vescepa) especially at the conclusion of what will be an 18 month study. Essentially Vescepa will be known as a "liquid stent". Earlier this year The American Diabetes Association added Vescepa to their standard of care list earlier this year. I have no doubt that many lives and amputeed legs will be saved amongst the Diabetes population.
