Elizabeth Warren’s national poll numbers are beginning to catch up to her early-state numbers.

Quinnipiac published the first national poll last week showing Warren jumping out to first place in the Democratic primary.

On Sunday, YouGov became the second pollster to find the same result:

Warren 27%

Biden 26%

Sanders 16%

Buttigieg 6%

Tom Steyer’s sole issue is enriching Tom Steyer.
He made millions in oil and gas, but made a Billion Dollars when he adopted the Buy-A-Democrat business model. He is very angry that the crony gravy train has stopped.

OTOH, it’ll also be interesting to see him on the stage since he’s a certified nutjob who’s sole issue is impeaching Trump

I believe this guy is a billionaire and all, and I would expect him to be a intelligent person. But if he is running on the issue of impeaching President Trump, somebody needs to tell him that if he wins the presidency, he doesn’t need to impeach President Trump.......

His campaign seems to be missing that fact.

Unless he doesn’t expect to win, then, why are you running?

Indications are Hillary is backing Warren.
She can settle for the State Dept as it gives her more power and none of the drama.

Buy-A-Democrat business model

You know the sad thing is, they are sooo cheap to buy. Cheaper then whores in some cases and will do more for you.

I remember when Operation Bid Rig was in play and the mayor of Hoboken was arrested/indicted for taking a $5,000 bribe to give a developer preferential treatment to the zoning/planning board so his project, $200 million dollar development, would go right through. I remember a news article written about this how people were upset at how “cheap” their elected politicians are, they sold out their town for a lousy 5 grand. They are dirt cheap

She can just go back to her old business model of selling influence for “donations” to her “foundation”

Since the Clintoons were never punished for in the first place, it will be back up and running in no time

Listen I could not agree with you more and, I do pay close attention to these nutcase Democrat Twisted Brothers & Sisters. I mean, Biden is a moron, Warren is really going nowhere, Sanders is a wilting old Communist. O’Rouke, Harris & Booker are lost at sea, Buttigieg (the Pajama Boy) is toast with Black Folks!!! And the rest are all garbage can material. But...I keep track of all of them...believe me. But.....the three people that will really hit the floor hard will be Pelosi, Schiff & Nadler...Traitors & Turncoats, all three!!! Give it time and you will soon see, I have most of them pegged...correctly!!! Bottom Line: Trumpie is going to be re-elected, big time in November, 2020!!!

All this crap means nothing. This DNC clown show with “debates” was for entertainment purposes only. Clintoon is out there crying, whining and nagging her ass off on her latest “listening” tour. She’s stealing the nomination again. Obviously, the bimbo didn’t learn a thing in 2016. She’s gone back to trashing Trump 24/7/365. That really worked out for her so well back in 2016 that she came in second place. She still thinks that trashing President Trump is her secret path through the woods, past Bigfoot and her hardcore supporters, straight to the White House. She’s a real ditz. JMO.

Getting a job (other than holding a political office) would be contrary to his principles...and he is a man of principle.

All the Democrat clowns have been cover for the real candidate,Hillary is on the march.
A legitimate news agency would be asking the Democrat candidates what they think of Hillary getting into the race and will they consider dropping out now since she was cheated

This is a fascinating poll. It's questions are too numerous to mention, but a quick browse of the Independents shows that they don't like the Democrat primary slate.

Link: The Economist/YouGov Poll - September 22 - 24, 2019

Topline:

1,500 Adults. D+10.

Maybe I'll post some interesting questions later.

“Bottom Line: Trumpie is going to be re-elected, big time in November, 2020!!!”

almost 100% certain ... and most likely GOP will re-take the House, and THAT would be almost certain if the Dems are so stupid to actually vote to send articles of impeachment to the Senate ...

The identity-politics left has decided that it’s time for a woman president. They were 95%-plus confident it would be Hilary in 2016, and they are 95%-plus confident that Warren is just as strong a candidate. After all Lizzy Warren is both female and Cherokee.

Here is a review of the Democrat and Independent favorable minus unfavorable for each major candidate (excludes "Don't know"). Score is "Very favorable" + "Somewhat favorable" - "Somewhat unfavorable" - Very unfavorable":

Additionally, I'm adding the belief that the candidate can beat President Trump ("Probably Beat" - "Probably Lose").

Candidate Dem
Fav
Ind
Fav
Dem
Beat
Trump
Ind
Beat
Trump
Donald Trump -75 -12
Elizabeth Warren 65 -6 50 -18
Bernie Sanders 54 -8 30 -16
Joe Biden 52 -10 48 -11
Kamala Harris 48 -20 19 -37
Pete Buttigieg 42 -9 6 -29
Beto O'Rourke 39 -22 -2 -39
Corey Booker 38 -14 -2 -37
Julian Castro 28 -14 -13 -39
Amy Klobuchar 23 -12 -11 -38
Andrew Yang 15 -5 -12 -34
Tulsi Gabbard 11 -10

Bottom Line

From this poll, Independents don't think that ANY Democrat candidate can beat President Trump.

Furthermore, Independents have an opposite view of the Democrat candidates from the Democrats themselves. This may change as the number of Independents who say "Don't Know" goes down.

Not sorry. The poll is the one in the article. The article is from today, but the poll was a week ago.

Still good.

Here is a review of the most important issues indicated by these poll respondents:

Issue Dem % Ind % Rep %
Health Care 26 18 8
Immigration 3 11 26
Environment 20 12 3
Economy 10 15 19
Gun Control 13 6 4
Social Security 9 11 9
Abortion 2 5 8

NOTE: I don't believe that Abortion was a low issue for Democrats. Something is wrong here.

Here is a review of the favorable minus unfavorable for each political party (excludes "Don't know"). Score is "Very favorable" + "Somewhat favorable" - "Somewhat unfavorable" - "Very unfavorable":

Party Dem
Fav
Ind
Fav
Rep
Fav
Democrats in Congress +57 -31 -67
Republicans in Congress -69 -30 +48
Trump Job Approval -68 -9 +76

NOTE: Democrats are happier with their party than Republicans are with theirs (no surprise). Republicans and Democrats dislike the other party equally. Independents dislike both equally, but only half as much as the parties dislike each other.

If an election for U.S. Congress were being held today, who would you vote for in the district where you live?

Party Dem % Ind % Rep %
Democrat candidate 94 31 2
Republican candidate 2 34 93

NOTE: Independents are slightly tilting towards Republicans, but 28% are still not sure.
