The rich and very rich in America include the corporate chiefs, particularly in the tech industry where personal fortunes have exploded.
Then there are the Hollywood figures and sports stars whose paychecks sometimes run in the millions. And many members of Congress, whose fortunes frequently surge when they are elected and even more after they leave office.
These are the people who should take notice of the segment of the American population that views itself as liberal or very liberal, a new poll indicates.
Rich people "might want to watch their backs," writes Brad Polumbo for the Washington Examiner, spotlighting a new survey showing "increasing swaths of Americans think violence against the upper class is justified."

The funny thing is the “rich” are overwhelmingly culturally Leftist. If the mob wants to go after Bill Gates and like, I won’t stop them.
Reports are circulating that Bernie Sanders’ proposed wealth tax would lighten Jeff Bezos’ wallet by nine billion dollars.
I think I could actually get behind that.

I think people like Bezos who created the likes of Elizabeth Warren deserve to learn a lesson.
In my business I work with 5 mega wealthy business owners. Hundreds of millions each in wealth. One may be a billionaire I am not sure.
Two of them have bolt hole ranches in rural, all white Western/midwest locals where they can escape when the economic collapse happens. And it will-I expect brought on by AI and millions of jobs lost due to automation.
Neither owner told me but staff who I am close to did.
Peter Thiele of Google talked about this last year. The ultra wealthy are buying up properties in safe areas such as New Zealand by the droves.
They know what is coming.
Malibu, the Hamptons and Cape Cod won’t be safe enough? The horrors!
Whatever.
The past few years, they’ve already believed in violence against Trump supporters.

A local guy in my town talked about the brutal working conditions while he was a driver for Amazon. Insane ever increasing daily production demands.
And we wonder why people are voting for these folks such as Sanders and Warren.
They don’t know where Bill Gates lives... they know where your neighborhood is though.

The problem is his 9 bil is working and giving people jobs. Maybe your job. Once the government gets its hands on it, the money will just be wasted with nothing produced or gained.
Most of the other half ARE the rich!
