According to Channel 13, 97.6% of the votes from Tuesday's elections have already been counted, Blue and White stands at 33 seats and Likud at 31 seats, with Blue and White leading by a narrow margin. It is important to note that these are still not the final results.
Overnight, the committee was counting the near quarter of a million soldiers' votes cast by Israeli soldiers.
The Central Election Committee (CEC) has been updating its website since the close of the polls at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. The last update was at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday: 4,354,991 votes had been counted or 68.11% of the ballots cast.
The current official results according to the CEC (with mandates/seats according to Channel 13):
CEC CONTINUES TO COUNT BALLOTS, NETANYAHU - GANTZ STILL AT STALEMATE As of this morning: Blue & White is ahead with 33 seats, Likud has 31.
Final polls show PM on verge on blocking majority Israeli election pits Trump, Obama pollsters against each other

Ah, old article. I would be shocked to find Hillary’s/Obama’s crew messing in an election in another country...
Haha, just kidding.
Don't expect them to help Netanyahu. First, Israel has near-universal conscription, so members of the armed forces are not self-selecting. More importantly, draftees bitterly resent the exemption from the draft that the ultra-Orthodox have, and the ultra-Orthodox parties are part of Netanyahu's coalition. Both Blue & White and Yisrael Beitenu campaigned on abolishing that exemption.
On policy vs. the Palestinians, there's very little difference. Most of the Blue & White candidates are former Likud.
The differences are on the secular vs. religious issues (chiefly, the ultra-Orthodox exemption from the draft), and personality issues (including pending corruption charges against Netanyahu).
Thanks for the information.
I not sure which Gantz is worse. The new one will hold Israeli children hostage to give the Arabs a 23rd state by carving up the tiny remains of the only Jewish state.
Ben Rhodes, obama official, is running Bibi’s opposition campaign.
Oh no!
I've been wondering just what Lieberman does want out of this. But whatever that is, isn't he closer to Bibi and Likud's policies than he is to the other leading vote getter? And doesn't his party control fewer than ten seats?
I have read that Gantz is for the “two-state solution”.
At least what I read seemed to confirm it.
If that is incorrect, please let me know.
If it is correct, I hope that Gantz enjoys the Antichrist.
So Gantz refuses harmony to accept government with Bibi and his supporters will prosecute Bibi ,and Netanyahu lacks votes for a coalition and no one will cooperate with each other so far. Sad.
The old line from The A Team “I love it when a plan comes together.”
I am very very sad that it looks like Bibi has lost and that he will be “investigated” and will likely go down in disrespect and defeat.
Too bad Israel. Too bad President Trump.
And too bad for the world.
Fully agree.
They are not recounting.
And the thing is, the world’s leftists have won - Obama and Hitlery and Soros and all have won......
They are all laughing and celebrating tonight.
God help us!
Yup. I've seen it numerous times here in The People's Republik of Connecticut. Either continue to recount, or keep the polls open in certain cities "for two extra hours because inner city voters felt disenfranchised".
*barf*
I've never been to Israel, but - from what I understand - their media is as leftist as it is here.
which makes me nauseated. The Israeli people will suffer for it. The world will suffer. But God is in control of that country and the fate of the world which is tied to it.
They were shipped from somewhere in Iran.
“..They will continue to recount until they get their desired outcome....”
Only because nobody STOPS them. They get away with it because no one fights them on it.
Same in Philly.
