2020 Democrats’ Demand For Kavanaugh Impeachment Will Kill Them In Swing States

One year later, Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation battle continues to illustrate the divide between the far left and much of the rest of the country, a gulf worsened by the media, and invisible to elite Democrats. On Sunday, The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway caught the New York Times omitting the highly relevant detail that his purported victim reportedly does not remember a new Kavanaugh allegation attributed to her. No matter, by Monday, every major 2020 candidate except Joe Biden had called for the justice’s impeachment.

At a Winning for Women lunch earlier this month, I asked Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel whether the party was still feeling the effects of Kavanaugh’s confirmation battle. Her answer—a resounding yes—takes on new relevance now

“I realize that I have led with my chin here, so swing away.”

The choice has never been more clearly defined. Democrats want socialism, and all the glories that come with that. Taking our freedoms, taxing us to exhaustion, controlling all aspects of our lives, while opening the borders.

The GOP is filled with gutless politicians who want nothing more than to be re-elected. I’ll give you that.

But, given the choice, the stark choice, even contemplating a vote for Democrats is... well, you characterize it?

You’re preaching to the choir here, sir/mam.

The bottom line reason I left supporting the GOP was their lack of faith in sticking with conservative principles.

I am in my mid 70’s and I would be hard pressed to recall a time I ever voted Democrat Party.

You have my views on the Party’s.

I did not nor would not vote for a McCain or a McRomney ever again.

Many folks have no problem with voting for the lessor of two evils. I just am no longer one.

The Kavanaugh confirmation hearings were before the midterm elections last year, but the Democrats still gained enough seats to take over the House of Representatives.

They started Kavanaugh hearings today? Not disputing you, but I haven’t run across anything other than Pressley threatening to initiate it, yesterday.

Must need to widen my search.
