Interesting approach. Trying to get out ahead of the FED and influence the FED.

I thought the TCP ones sold on the black market are the cause of the concern not the legally sold ones

This will really cut black market demand and make it safer(/s)

I tried for 30 years to quit smoking and nothing worked.....Patch, pills, gum etc. nothing. Then a friend suggested vaping and I gave it a shot....it worked, still not without a great deal of effort BUT IT WORKED!

Been 7 years now and I’m done with cigs for good thanks to vaping. I would likely be on oxygen now or dead had I not with the aid of vaping, quit.

I suspect my story is hardly an isolated one.

unconstitutional- governments can’t just ban things when there is no evidence it is causing harm- The harm is from OTHER substances- not the flavored flavors- This will very likely go to SC, as it violates a company’s right ot market products have been used since 2001 with no ill effects to speak of, and which have helped millions of people quit something that actually DOES kill people- tobacco cigarettes- - the harm is coming from just certain products like THC- not flavored juices-

The state can try to make the case that flavored juices are marketed to kids, but that will be a tough row to hoe-

Not too racist.

Politicians, voters who made smokers stand outside to smoke, now you can't even do that with a real cigarette, pipe, cigar....but legalized or NOT, smoking marijuana is just fine.

Yep. Lots of people manage to quit without 5% nicotine mango flavor vaping.

We (society) should have a social contract with our youth. Here is what Newt Gingrich (1997) said although he didn't mention nicotine:

Civilization cannot survive with twelve-year-olds having babies, fifteen-year-olds shooting one another, seventeen-year-olds dying of AIDS, and eighteen-year-olds graduating with diplomas they cannot read.

Thousands of kids are vaping, becoming addicted and unable to give up nicotine as adults. We as a society need to step in. I support Melania.

I agree. Maybe Hannity should stop having Juule as a sponsor. I hate when he does that ad on radio.

Death from vaping: 5 so far
Death from cigarettes: 75,000 annually, demonstrably.

The difference is that the vaping industry hasn’t figured out how to pay off politicans yet.

It encourages younger people and it’s cheaper than cigarettes.

Ummm.
Cartridges aren’t that difficult to make, and could be obtained from other jurisdictions anyway. People I know fill their own cartridges anyway.

I don’t think they know yet. There is one kid who has filed a lawsuit against one of the major manufacutures Juule(sp?).

The FDA is trying to figure out if the illnesses are tied to specific ingredient(s). Early contenders are Vitamine E and THC.

But I’m guessing that will be hard to do. As probably the vaporers have tried a lot of stuff.

Vaping was minimally controversial until Juul popularized fruit flavors with 5% nicotine that became a go-to product for school kids. Twice as strong as earlier products and strong enough to get a buzz off a puff or two in school. Juul caused the attention.

A grand total of 6 people have died from aftermarket THC in oil refills.

480,000 people died last year from tobacco.

Do the math.
