Ted is absolutely right. Abbott won his first election in 2014 by 20%. His victory margin narrowed to 13% in 2018. Incumbents tend to expand their victory margins. 2018 was a warning shot. The RNC needs to spend some money in TX, or it will lose a significant % of the TX congressional delegation. A good number of GOP TX Reps are in real danger of losing their seats.

I despise agitprop ... particularly when it comes from a guy who nearly fumbled an easy Senate seat .... this isn’t a anti-tedlim rant, but this dude hops around on one foot constantly because he’s always shooting at the other foot.

Cruz has got this chick-like Imposter Syndrome as bad as I have ever seen in a man. This is exactly why he let Stabby train wreck his ‘16 “campaign”. This is exactly why the constant references to ‘dad’.

NOBODY CARES, Senator.

Do your goddamn job and otherwise stfu. You’re not that well-read, you’re not that well-spoken (duh), just sit quietly and await your orders from the New Emperor!

It really is pathetic that any post that mentions Ted Cruz brings out the haters on FR. Predictable. Pathetic. And always the same pathetic FReepers who refuse to move on. Really pathetic.

The Demoncrap den of iniquity for Texas is Austin. That’s where the Republicans need to bring it big in Nov. 2020, hit them where the poison root flourishes.

The Obama planned demographic invasion of the Southern tier of states proceeds apace. The Dems think they have California and New Mexico, with Arizona and Texas to follow. Republicans need to bring the fight to them there in ways that have not been tested, getting out the Republican vote based on the President’s factual record, ignored and obscured by the fake news MSM.

Americas generally do not vote according to hatred. But they do vote for national security, the second amendment, our booming economy, and the momentum of winning for America.

But it will be a fight, and so when have Republican Texans ever shied away from a fight?

Remember the Alamo, and get on with it!

Keep Texas and America free from the burgeoning socialista hegemony! The Dems have nothing good planned for either Texas or the country entire. What they propose is a totalitarian state which they think to make palatable with the sugar of false virtue signaling and identity politics.

You can read about the larger plan right here, one of the most informative historical documents published on the subject:

“Barack Obama: The Quintessential Liberal Fascist”

So...
Trump takes Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan last election...but NOW.... I’m supposed to believe that a Democrat will win Texas in the next election...while the economy of Texas is booming?

Uh, ok....

The Hispanic community has made historic gains during the Trump Administration

“While Democrat candidates remain oblivious and out of touch, Americans – especially in Texas – are taking note of the positive impact that President Trump and Republicans’ pro-growth, pro-business policies are having on American families and businesses.”

Cruz is right, and his 2018 returns are the proof. TX is in imminent danger of a hostile takeover by totalitarians.

I have never trusted Cruz ever since I found out his wife was CFR.

HEIDI CRUZ, THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS, AND ‘BUILDING A NORTH AMERICAN (UNION) COMMUNITY’
He had to know. That alone says little for his credentials which may well be phony all the way.my guess is hes still either a never Trumper or so jealous he can’t see straight.

I think that Trump is not going to ignore Texas during the 2020 campaign, like Hillary did with the Deer Hunter states.

He is not stupid. He knows that nothing is in the bag.

You’re pi$$ed off at Trump for campaigning for you? Or for not giving the Dems cart blanch to confiscate guns. I’m sure Texans hate him for that./s

Oh, but there are Californian refugees, who never learned a thing from how terrible California was, and want more of the same in Texas. High taxes, gun “control,” homeless in major metro areas spreading disease, illegals taking up jobs and social service resources. Can’t get enough of that in California, so they’re spreading the love./s

Trump being Trump has been the best thing America has seen in a very long time.

What’s Cruz’ answer? Trump stop being Trump? Go pound sand Ted. BTW, you look terrible, like you’ve been run over by a freight train or something.

Well, Cruz could be right. Trump has failed to restore the rule of law.

The democraps tried a coup d’état by using the powers of the intelligence agencies, the law enforcement, the justice department, and foreign spies...no one went to jail.

The democraps did outright illegal voter fraud by stuffing ballot boxes...no one went to jail.

The democraps registered illegal aliens to vote...no one went to jail.

Trump has done many great things for this country, but for the most important one, restoring the rule of law, he hasn’t lifted a finger. Everything he has done can quickly be undone by an incoming democrap president.

It won’t happen - but even so, Trump was on the brink of winning VA and MN. If he holds all other states and picks up either on of those, or the equivalent electoral votes from other nealry won states, then he doesn’t need Texas.

It’s fine with me if the new electoral dividing line becomes states more invaded (NY, CA, TX, etc) vs. States less invaded, so long as the latter wins and we continue to fight and win a war against this invasion.

In 2016 the left said if Trump loses Florida, he can’t win, which turned out to be false.

So I guess in 2020 they’ll be saying this about Texas, and either way I think that will also turn out to be false.

I think the biggest threat against Trump is absolutely without question Google and election fraud. The Treasonists are going to pull out all the stops this election and absolutely nothing is being done about it. How much more evidence do Republicans require? We got Google employees multiple times on video saying they are going to rig the election, we have the democrats last election working with Russia to spy on Trump of which NOBODY involved has yet been charged, it’s utterly outrageous the do nothing attitude going on today when it comes to this crap.

The migration to TX, GA, FL, NC, TN is obviously the result of jobs there and no jobs in Rust Belt Cities.

Right-to-work laws are only a small part of the picture. Lower taxes, less regulation are significant. Back in the 60s I did sociological studies of the movement of employers and manufacturing from the city of Chicago, especially the factory belt along the west and northwest railroad lines, to the suburbs, especially Elk Grove Village.

By far, the #1 reason for flight was to avoid harrassment by inspectors/regulators. There were dozens of other reasons. But they all paled in comparison to excessive harrassment by regulators.

In recent years I have not done the same type of thorough study, nor have I seen such a study from others. But I suspect harrassment of employers is much higher than anything else.

Here in Atlanta wages are about the same as in Chicago. In my IT they are about the same. In construction labor (new apartment buildings) they are about the same. In food service they are about the same.

Ted Cruz Warns Republicans [Trump] They Could Lose Texas In 2020

Partner, Ted Cruz is P.O.ed that he lost the presidential election to President Trump is 2016. We can thank God for Cruz's lost of President Trump.

Ted Cruz is a disaster since he almost lost to that idiot Beeeetoooooooowwwwwww O'Rourke, who Cruz should have beaten quite easily. There were too many Illegal aliens that came to Texas and voted Illegally. They will never be allowed to become citizens of this great country of ours.

President Trump had to come to Texas so that Cruz could get more votes to beat O'Rourke.
