Filmmaker Oliver Stone has praised Russias anti-gay propaganda law, telling Russian President Vladimir Putin that the law is sensible.
Stone, director of films such as JFK, W, and Natural Born Killers, made the comments during an interview with Putin for Stones documentary Revealing Ukraine.
According to a transcript of the interview released by the Kremlin, Stone praised the 2013 law which banned the promotion of nontraditional sexual relationships and complained about the increasing recognition of gender identity.
As you know, Ive been very rebel all my life. Still am. And I have to tell you, Im shocked by some of the behaviors and the thinking of the new generation, Stone said.

A stopped clock is right, twice a day.....
I know. Once in a blue moon, Stone opens his mouth and scares me because he says something I actually agree with. I have to go through my personal checklist again to make sure I’m not drifting leftward.........
Oliver Stone is more reasonable than Russophobia neocon lunatics.
So Ollie Stoned is “shocked” by the thinking of the younger generation, huh? Gee Ollie, where were you during the 60’s?
Stone was probably aware of the horrific effects of polonium 210.
What is the world coming to when Oliver Stone is the voice of reason?
An allegiance to communism...
The hypocrisy of these clowns never, ever make it to Main St.
It’s pretty sad that the West has been working so much to make the gay thing “mainstream”. We can thank the fools that love the Manchurian Candidate for making it much worse.
I was thinking of this old Alvin Lee and Ten Years After song earlier today. Couldn’t release this song today.

I didn’t have to click on the link. That was my tagline for awhile.
Now watch it turn out to be “Good Morning Little School Girl”.
I’m specifically referencing the line:
“Dykes and fairies,
tell me where is sanity?”
[That was my tagline for awhile.]
Good one to have.
Hard to believe that was 48 years ago; that song.
Thanks. I’ve got “Slow Blues in ‘C’” dialed up for tomorrow. New to me.
About to watch some TV before hitting the sack. Gotta get a few things done by late morning - midday hopefully.
Good chatting with ya.
About 5 or so years ago (I'm now 71), I began to pull up the lyrics and read along as I listened to youtube clips that did not provide them.
Especially the oldy oldies like "Patches" or "Leader of The Pack". So much teenage angst and coping involved with stuff like that.
The Beatles were masters at bumper sticker lyrics and started a lot of people thinking about things public school never approached, let alone taught .... and certainly parents wouldn't even allow themselves to even think.
I would LOVE to have a high wattage radio station that pumped out nothing but music from '55 - '70 or so.
A few of the SiriusXM stations fit the bill. Theyre more narrowly tuned for content, so there isnt just one that covers that. Deep Tracks, Classic Vinyl, Elvis Radio would head up the list.
99 out of 100 people enraged by Russian ‘anti-gay’ laws have no idea what is really written in these laws.
I used to think the line “tax the rich, feed the poor, ‘til there are no rich no more” was really stupid, but I now think Alvin was actually pointing out the logical fallacy of such thinking.
Oliver Stone in the 60s was serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. Voluntarily, as he supported the cause, by my memory.
He’s done.
No lifetime achievement award for you, Ollie.
