This is a district that Trump won by 11. So winning it by 2 or 3 should not inflate your confidence.

But this is a special election, not a presidential election. Turnout is MUCH lower and the margins are often slimmer for these types of elections.
Take a deep breath and listen. Forget 2016, In 2018 the R won by just 905 votes. Bishop and Trump stretched that out to around 4500. THAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE VOTRE TODAY.

You cannot compare a special election to a general election. Many more will come out for Trump in 2020 and Republicans down ballot will ride the wave accordingly.
Basically Bishop should win re-election by 15 points or more come 2020 - mark my post and let me know how my prediction turns out.
