The family court system is unbelievably one sided. Glad my ex-wife and I never had kids in our 13 years of marriage.
Assuming that’s you in that bottom picture of your profile, you look very pretty. There are many guys out there not interested in kids (eg: myself and several of my guy friends) that would be more than fine dating someone like you and fine with the arrangement. Just have to find them. I unfortunately have to fly American Airlines all the time for work and a bunch for personal as well (out of CLT) but I enjoy flying when the flights aren’t delayed/cancelled - this year will be the first year I hit Exec plat with American.
Yep, me. I just enjoy what I do and don’t want to be denied it.
Submit. They still think men should.
Look where it has taken our nation.
Women just love the gender bender dynamics. “Aww, they need our support...”
I totally get it! If you are ever in the Charlotte area, I’ll buy you a drink!
Charlotte is on one of my routes out of Denver going to Philly then into Chicago. If I have a layover there, sure.
Many of them still will - designer clothes/hangbags, private schools for the kids, luxury vacations, mega mansion, etc. Women, especially ones under 45, seem to just absolutely be obsessed with shopping and spending money.
You really think a college educated divorcer is more likely to have a spouse on drugs/alcohol than someone with HS degree or less? You really think a high earning college educated college male is going to abandon the family and be forced to pay even more alimony and child support than otherwise? While the first filer is of course not always at fault, the 90% stat vs the rest of the country as as whole (which look be closer to 50/50 m:f ratio) is eye-opening.
Also, it's what the research says:
Likewise, mens education level is also positively linked to their odds of cheating.

When men are thinking with their little head, they generally aren't thinking about the financial ramifications. That happens once they get caught.
I think that the 90% stat regarding college educated females is more reflective of the fact that they are more likely to have independent income with which to support themselves and hire a lawyer than their lesser educated sisters and again, who files first has nothing to do with fault in the no fault divorce world.
“And the second flaw is that you cant ever see any positives to it.”
Sure, there are positive sin being single. However your post do nothing but bash women and marriage.
You have not made on positive comment on either women or marriage but you have done nothing but condemn marriage.
Personally, and from my experience, those college educated women are married to much higher income earning men and just see a big pay day relative to the non-college people. I really don't think its cheating causing the divorces. According to this study, the average age of divorce is around 30 and according to your study only around 1 in 8 people have cheated by that age, and significantly fewer than that caught.
I think the 50/50 ratio among non-college grad and a chunk of the 90/10 college grad are caused by 1) money issues by one or both spouses 2) cheating 3) one or both spouses letting themselves go physical. The rest, IMO, is largely about someone, usually women, seeing a big payday.
For men, modern marriage has zero upsides. Given divorce rates and how “family court” works, zero upsides.
I think you are ignoring substance abuse and domestic violence in those numbers both of which are higher for males and are no respecters of income.
Men do not want to hear this, but they have a higher rate of risk taking behavior, higher rates of violence, murder rates (as both perpetrators and victims) mental illness, and most other negative social or health risks. All of which impact their ability to sustain a marriage.
But the real dirty secret is that overall 50% divorce rates are driven by a hard core group of serial marriers/divorcers who are chronic failures at marriage, yet continue to remarry. This group is mostly made up of not losers, but grifters, narcissists and sociopaths of both genders who never seem to marry each other but burn a wide swath through the rest of the population all while squealing and blame shifting.
Yes, but the risk of those things is LOWER among college grads than non college grads, so again that doesnt explain the shift from roughly 50/50 to 90-10. It has to be something fairly unique to college educated couples.
And yes, the overall divorce rate for first marriages is a bit over 30%, not the overall 50%. But, the marriage rate has also declined considerably in the last 50 years, so only the “stronger” relationship marriages are likely occurring or the rate would be even worse and more couples just live together without getting married.
whatever noob
The women have good jobs and their own money. They can afford a divorce and a good divorce lawyer. Plus they have that fine feminist college indoctrination.
In every case I know of a college educated woman getting divorced in my fairly large social circle and that of my family, including my own, the husband was making at least 2x (and in my case more than 10x), and the wives walked away with at least half, massive child support and alimony
Good points; in the end, as long as women more than men benefit from divorce (in most cases) marriage will be undesirable to young men.
Attempts to rectify this by paying women more than men simply create a group of men unable to support a family; not exactly incentive to marry there, either. The gender gap in pay is a myth, and since women have been 60% of college classes for decades now, it is no mystery why young men don’t see themselves as providers for families. Denying them opportunity denies the women spouses.
“At the very least, sex without committment damages a persons self worth.”
Under the guise of liberalism, Hollywood has reduced women to little more than sex objects (pretending it is “power”). Too many people buy into that today, but in the end even the prettiest sex object will age - and a lot of depression/consternation/anger results.
