A general election must be held and then the bill can be repealed by the new government.

He’s been thwarted by his own party at every step so I guess he’s taken the hint.

Remain is winning, just like the swamp here.

Very simple. Just refuse to present the bill to HM Queen Elizabeth II. No royal assent, no law.

If Parliament doesn’t like it, they can hold a vote of no confidence followed by a general election.

Boris Johnson was handed a ticking bomb and fumbled the job.

His great mistake was in not finding a way to provide his own members with cover so that they could manage a clean Brexit. Instead he was forced to expel 26 and lost one as well in a debacle.

Boris Johnson has the right objective but he has got to manage better.

This ought to send a strong signal to the citizens of the UK that their elected officials have no interest in allowing for the wishes of the voters to be recognized.

It will be up to the voters to either accept this slap in the face or throw the current government out.

Face it. Britain no longer exists as most Americans once knew it or imagined it. Thanks to massive immigration it has forsworn its national heritage. It is now just another globalist province. When Boris Johnson looked around, he came to the realization that the Britain he once knew and loved no longer exists. Unless the open borders Democrats are destroyed, America is next.

Everyone is missing the point.

The date set for the U.K. to leave the EU is not set or able to be changed by anything the current Parliament does. If they create a “deal” that is acceptable to the EU or not the deadline is October 31, 2019. The EU has said, many times, that another extension will not be forthcoming.

Richard Newby, an opposition member in the upper chamber, said the Conservative Party dropped its opposition after realizing it was “looking stupid.”

“There was a realization by those on the other side that this was more than usually stupid, and they were looking stupid, and we needed to find a way forward,” he told BBC Radio.

While America turns into The Onion, England turns into Blackadder.

How depressing! They seem to have boxed him in. I hope he can pull a rabbit out of the hat somehow.

I do not believe he has to present it to the Queen. However, I am not an expert.
