National Rifle Association (NRA) CEO Wayne LaPierre is responding to the declaration by San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors voting to unanimously declare the group a terrorist organization with the release of a new video showing members of the NRA to be many hardworking Americans with a variety of backgrounds. The video, provided exclusively to Breitbart News ahead of its public release, shows LaPierre speaking at the NRA’s 2019 Annual Meeting in Indianapolis to a crowd of thousands of NRA members who are ordinary hardworking Americans.

The less-than-two-minute video opens with a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors bashing the NRA as a “domestic terror organization,” which the city officials voted on Tuesday to do.

“I shake my head and I go ‘what the heck is going wrong in our country?’” LaPierre says in the speech shown in the video.

LaPierre continues, “Let’s give them a real clear view on who we all are: How many police officers do we have here today? Please stand up. Anyone who works in health care in any way, anyone who works in education, if you work in manufacturing, construction, if you work in a trade–maybe a plumber–and how about stay-at-home moms? If you own your own business? Firefighters out there, if you’re in the military or a vet, if you obey the law, stand up and be recognized as Americans. I want all the media to look around this room right now and see us for the American people that we truly are. We are law-abiding Americans who believe liberty is a blessing. We love our country...

San Francisco cannot clean the feces off their streets, yet they have time to vote on absurd resolutions such as this.

Misplaced priorities???

I would vote The San Francisco Board of Supervisors as a terrorist organization.

Well, yeah - if there's anything SF city government is good at, it's making worthless symbolic gestures. They certainly can't govern the city.

As for LaPierre, the NRA would not be nearly so vulnerable to attack and bad PR if he had done a better job in his role instead of using member dues to feather his nest. At a time when Second Amendment rights are under attack like never before, LaPierre apparently decided to look after himself.

Who cares what the San Francisco Board of Supervisors thinks or says.

These are the same people that support dismembering babies up to (and lately after) the moment of birth. I know of no deaths caused by the NRA but there are millions of documented murders by Planned Parenthood.

I rejoined the NRA this evening. I am the NRA.

The day this happens there will be no power, no police radios, no phones, no help on the way. Your safety will depend on the "well regulated militia." That is you and your neighbors and your weapons.

Just rejoined the NRA. If ever there was a reason, now is it.

Meanwhile, San Francisco has a massive homelessness problem, no longer relegated the outskirts of town but throughout the entire city where they will shit on the street in broad daylight and drop the discarded needles there as well. San Francisco cannot even Address a situation that has the potential to cause a massive public health crisis due to the disease being spread, but they have time for feel-good worthless resolutions like this.

The NRA has just been replaced by Gunowners of America in this house. Sending my NRA non-renewal back with a message. They are almost silent on the administration’s gun control package Pence described his quick senrencong as part of a larger gun control package).
The NRA is also silent on calls for red flag rules from the top.
If obama had breathed the words bumpstock ban, they would have had a meltdown and talked about it 24/7.
The fact that they and others are nearly silent tells me th hey are GOP party pimps with no principles... funny thing is, that is happening a lot with the non- principled ever trumpers.
Trump could personally drive up, take all of their weappns, go next door and shoot a neighbor and I would get called a never trumper for not supporting it.
Principles over party... otherwise, the left is right to call it hypocritical.

Very powerful video, and after seeing it, the members of the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco should be demanded to resign in mass.

LaPierre and the entire top tier of the NRA needs to resign or be forced out. They are wrecking the purpose of the NRA by turning it into their personal millionaire gravy-train slush fund. They have brought discredit to the NRA by their horrible personal actions. They need to GO.

Say what you want about Wayne, but he’s a really really good face for the NRA.

The NRA probably needs to clean up its act, however, let us not lose Wayne LaPierre. Maybe demote the guy, but keep him as the NRA’s face. He’s just plain-old good at what he does.

The money spent on this ad, could have helped pay for Wayne’s retirement demands.

San Fransisco, I remember when if you went there you wear a flower in your hair. Guess who rules there? The only control they need there is sanitation and law enforcement. More people die from drugs or dealing them. Adding additional laws without enforcement and depriving people the right to defend themselves is so 3rd world $#!T hole. I wonder how many of the board members possess unregistered fire arms for their own protection?

Pepe LePew has an awesome suit and intern collection. Too bad he didn’t show as much concern for rolling back gun control.

They’ll need to be forced out. Execs with Royalty Syndrome never leave until forced out.
