Hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. military aid has poured into Ukraine since 2014, but that could soon come to an end.
This, after two senior administration officials confirmed President Donald Trump is considering blocking Ukraine's $250 million annual aid package, which is meant to curb aggression from Russia.
Ukraine has been using the aid to fight an armed separatist movement backed by Moscow.

Who do you think will prevail? And once again propaganda is fading and so is estrangement between Ukrainians and Russians.
Do you think no kickbacks are involved?
No one will prevail.
And I know plenty of Ukrainian people from Kiev and west. The resentment towards Russia is, if anything, growing. This estrangement will take generations
No kickbacks to Trump and his people but plenty the crowd who baked the cookies, so to speak, that Victoria Nuland was handing out.
I understand what you mean and expect more realistic outcome. Ukraine would be back with Russia but under less favorable conditions in a long run. It was a sort of Russia’s Canada and will be a sort of Russia’s Mexico it the future.
Is Biden still there?
Cut off all foreign aid to everyone.
Junior was still there earlier this summer but I don’t know where he is at the moment.
Nice line. And you aren’t the only one who bought it. Some people are still blaming slavery for own corruption and in a very similar way.

And what Crimeans think? If you are trading stocks and familiar with Elliott waves your chart is not that univocal. It might produce some unexpected moves to the right:)
Crimea is just a screaming example of the failure of ‘new Ukraine’. With organized crime and oligarchs booted out and a little rule of law introduced it is now flourishing and would have the economy the size of Ukraine in a decade max.
So Putin acquired Crimea and lost Ukraine. Good deal?
An idea that Russia ‘owned’ Ukraine is bizarre.
The US needs to cut all aid to everywhere. It never gets to the people and they all hate us so why bother.
I didn’t want to be the one to say that :)
Agreed
I wish Putin would understand that basic fact and stop the war against Ukraine.
MOSCOW (AP) Russian President Vladimir Putin says he believes Russians and Ukrainians constitute one nation and that the countries should find a way to integrate.

Putin can’t change certain facts and his foreign policy goes independently of his wishes the way Trump’s is.
The west ukrainian people are not Russian culturally and will not rejoin
You are right but they are a really tiny part of Ukraine to be any relevant. They hate Poland no less. It is not representative at all.
