That’s why they invented generators.

That tells me it’s going to miss Florida. Models are usually 500% off this far out.

Thanks from Orlando. Today’s projected path is grim but much time and many variables remain. By the Grace of God we here have weathered many storms with little damage or loss... Praise the Lord!

Are you serious?

Where do you live in Florida?

Brevard County is a very long county with Titusville to the north and Melbourne, Palm Bay, etc southward......

We have recently had an influx of thousands and thousands ......with new housing especially in the Viera community, which also has our School Board, Courthouse, large shopping mall, 2 large hospitals, many churches, schools, etc etc......

The ocean is ONLY 7 miles, as the crow flies, from this mass of people and homes, schools, etc........with only a small strip of land and intracoastal waterway between!!!!!!!
Melbourne ( where all the weather news is highlighting) is a 20 minute drive south of Viera and it is a settled community bigger than Viera

We also have a lot of nursing homes and assisted living for our elderly!

I really don’t understand your response at all!

***96.5 AM radio***

That would be 'FM' of course. Tom Terry has a good track record.

FYI 96.5 is FM..not AM radio. Thanks to Bob Ireland for pointing my error out.

Publix is already out of water in my area!!

Bottled water keeps.

It's more than I can figure why people wait until the last minute when they live in a place that gets hurricanes like we get snow.

They should have been stocked up last spring.

At the moment storm is tracking way south of Brevard. That Fort Pierce area is the least populated part of the east coast without a doubt. Although, now I see at 11 PM it is brushing up on West Palm. I am up near Jax.

Seems like an needlessly early call. This thing is tracking more south with every update and SE GA is now out of the forecast completely.

Three days off, after 7, seven-day weeks since July 4th.

First date in more years than I care to admit, tomorrow night.

Old friend just getting settled in CG or PSL after moving there from here.

Looks to be an interesting weekend, and perhaps week.

Flatter this bisects Fla, more chance of Round Two, ala Katrina.

Oh mercy......seeing this jump from 85 to 105 scares me !

I have dear people in Brevard County who are in the present path......some too infirm to leave

Even Orlando could get clobbered if the storm slowly churns for a long period of time
I am imploring family there to leave......yes Orlando!

Hopefully, this one isn’t a monster. At this point those in mobile homes and flood areas are likely to take big hits. And river/beach side of course. We didn’t even lose power for the last hurricane, Michael, up in the Jax area. We returned home after evacuating and the clocks still had the correct time. And that was a cat 5!
