Another poster with an eating disorder chiming in. There is nothing inherently wrong with carbohydrates. Would love if there was a way meet up in a gym and find out the difference in my balanced diet and your carb limited one.

On the other hand, if it makes you happy, go for it.

Well, I guess the fact that ‘eating disorders’ EXPLODED once people cut way back on their meat consumption around 1980 (thanks to our government) and replaced them with carbs...is just a ‘coincidence’ to you.

And considering the numbers of overweight/obese/diabetic people in the country, virtually all of who got there by eating carbs, people like youself are close to being in the minority (you certainly would be where I work)...perhaps it’s you guys with the eating disorder, since ‘normal’ people (i.e., the majority of people) are now overweight, if not in worse shape.

For others, have a look at this video:

There’s no such thing as essential carbohydrates, while there are essential proteins and fatty acids.

Now, it’s true that you do need certain nutrients that can only come from foods with carbohydrates in them, green leafy vegetables, like Brussels Sprouts and Cauliflower.
