“Look how fast they got out the Guards, OT, and sleeping stories.”
So that they could quickly lay it at the feet of the federal bureaucracy with AG Barr being the Head of the DOJ, therefore blaming Barr and Trump as we all know this is all Trump’s fault; he is ultimately to blame.
Thus taking the heat off the prison staff and laying it at the feet of the President and his AG. It’s called immediately attempting to change the narrative and point the finger of guilt away from the prison Admin and on to the Trump Admin.
I read that the director of the facility is a civil service hack, a woman with virtually no prior administrative experience in anything, much less prison administration, and the head warden (who has since been fired) was a Senegalese with absolutely no prior prison training or experience. So, yes, it’s conceivable that the mismanagement that the place was so out of control that nobody knew or cared what the guards were doing or where they were at any given moment.
Still, the convenient “everybody was sleeping on the job “ narrative is simply beyond belief.
