Defense attorneys pushed for Jeffrey Epstein to be taken off suicide watch ahead of his death on Saturday, an unidentified source told ABC News.
The financier, who was jailed on federal sex-trafficking charges, had been on suicide watch after an apparent earlier suicide attempt, but was taken off ahead of his death.
Sources told ABC News that Epstein had to undergo multiple psychiatric evaluations before officials decided to take him off suicide watch.
There is likely no video showing Epstein’s apparent suicide death, as sources told ABC News it does not appear that cameras are trained on individual cells in the special housing unit where he was held.
Attorney General William Barr said the FBI is launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death.
Epstein was reportedly supposed to be checked by guards every 30 minutes. The New York Times, citing an unidentified law enforcement official, reported on Sunday, however, that guards had not been monitoring Epstein twice an hour the night he died.
The jail personnel is trying to shift the blame. And if the did put pressure on them the who paid off the attorneys?
But he wasn’t on murder watch.
The article does not bother to tell us WHY Epstein’s lawyers wanted to take him off suicide watch. That request does not seem to be in the best interest of the client.
And who are these lawyers to tell prison officials what to do, anyway?
This story just gets crazier and crazier.

I agree. It's an odd request from his own defense attorney for a man who already attempted suicide.
But it's an unnamed, unconfirmed source.

I’m not buying anything other than that a homicide occurred.
AND... if Epstein is dead, who are they going to bill for the thousands of hours of legal work they still have to do?
Perhaps someone made them a very attractive offer, and they found a way to get paid without doing any more work for Epstein.
How much evidence is left?
And I'll ask the question I asked many times.
WHO is in possession and control of the evidence?
NOT the agency but the INDIVIDUALS.

Put on your tin foil hat, then consider this conspiracy theory:
Some powerful person - or some powerful country - wants Epstein alive, and not standing trial. So smuggle Epstein out of jail, disguised as a suicide victim. Or simply switch out Epstein with some poor sap. Then murder that poor sap.
But wait. Epstein would have to be prepped. Can’t do that with jailers nosing around. Hence the lawyers must ask for an end to the suicide watch.
Do I believe what I just wrote there? Nope. I think Epstein was murdered in his cell. But given good enough odds, maybe 20-1, I’d bet a few bucks on the above theory.
Bingo.
I got a sneaky feeling he aint dead....
