'Ear this, America: A uniquely unscientific poll of Iowa voters suggests Joe Biden is struggling to maintain his front-runner status in the Democratic presidential primary race.
Just 24% of Iowa State Fair goers “voted” for Biden by dropping a kernel of corn in his jar in a fair display designed to predict the winner of the nominating contest.
The vice president out-husked his closest rival, Pete Buttigieg, who drew 16% in the Cast Your Kernel contest. Sen. Elizabeth Warren was right behind with 15% and Sen. Kamala Harris took 11%.
That margin reflects a closer contest than most national polls, and shows that the vice president may be in for a rocky start when the voting starts with the Iowa caucuses next February.
Of course, you butter be ready for plenty of ups and downs before that frosty night.
Hillary Clinton won the 2016 Kernel contest in a landslide, but barely eked out a win against upstart Bernie Sanders in the actual caucus. Sanders is trailing badly this time with just 9%.
On the GOP side, President Trump was running away with the contest, scoring 97% of the kernels, with just 3% going to rival Bill Weld.
And even that landslide showing may understate Trump’s popularity with GOP voters. One of the “voters” for Trump was actually a Democratic congressional candidate who did not want to side with any of his fellow Democrats for fear of alienating supporters of the others.
Sanders is going nowhere, he just likes the attention and that "some" people will actually listen to him.

And banking the cash (offshore?) for future retirement in one of his three homes.
They used Lysenko GMO corn, that inherits the tendency to vote for the person who won the last election.
I just hope they nominate somebody who is actually eligible......

Frankly, I doubt anyone is a-maized by these results. It's not as if this goes against the grain.

The worst thing about candidates attending the Iowa State Fair
was the obvious snubbing of Mayor Pete. It was beyond insulting .
Imagine visiting a corn dog stand and “dipped in fudge” isn’t option.

Means little.
Biden is significantly, but not definitively, ahead. He’s preferred, but those voting for the others likely will vote for whoever wins nomination.

The ears have not been kind to Bernie "Doc Brown" Sanders.
He probably rightfully won the Democrat nomination in 2016 but was played for a fool by Hillary and her rigged superdelegates. He then sold his followers down the river in exchange for a dacha for himself. Total loser and a cuckold. Nobody respects him this go-around.
That corn poll is probably as good as any MSM poll out there. Trump won by a wide margin back in 2015 and if I remember correctly, Ben Carson was number two with former frontrunner Jeb Bush already in Bill DeBlasio territory.
President Trump has MAGA, Joe has MASA -- or rather, he has 24% of it.

It’s gonna be a problem when they start pushing Biden out. But lots can change between now and then.
