Police and other emergency services are responding to reports of an active shooting at the Walmart near the Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas, local officials and witnesses say. Only few details were immediately available.
The incident began at about 11 a.m. on Saturday when officers were called for an active shooter at Walmart. It was not immediately clear if police have confirmed a shooting and, if so, what is the status of the suspect.

I don’t know how much psychotropic drugs play a role, but I’m concerned about these drugs being used in very young prepubescent kids like many ADD drugs are. I played violent video games and watched violent movies when I was a kid and I knew the difference between fantasy/fiction and real life. I think you would need to already have major problems for those to make you want to inflict real violence on someone. If I had been filled with amphetamines before puberty there’s no telling what I would have become. I think ADD meds need to stop for prepubescent kids. Older kids who have developed a lot further would be less of a risk, but I really don’t think ADD exist to the degree it needs to be treated in any children. Adults probably don’t need it either, but it’s not going to turn them into killers unless they are already a ticking time bomb.

Exactly. FWIW, our church does. Well-trained, former or current LEOs, former vets, etc. We have an active shooter security plan as well. Our church would be a very poor choice for this kind of BS. No need to call SWAT as it would all be over in a matter of seconds. Just call the coroner and bring a body bag.
