A couple of years ago, they held some big climate conference out in the Pacific on some resort island. Hotel space was not a problem with the 5,000-odd people showing up. Ramp space for private jets was a problem.
So at some point, they just said as you land...you have an hour to unload your VIP guests and then take off. You then had a choice of three other islands within 30 minutes...to land and actually park your jet. All total, there must have been over 200 jets that had to be parked at alternate islands.
No mention of Miley? Or Taylor? Elites, my ass.
