The Tienanmen massacre wasn’t completely transmitted to the rest of the world - there are already people in place with satellite phones (that the regime can’t intercept or censor) that will stream the whole thing live to the rest of the world.

They won’t be able to sweep it under the rug like last time.

I’m only surprised it took 20 years to get to this point. I figured a bloody crack down would have already happened by now.

I think there is rapidly approaching a day, when American companies in China will be abandoned.

By the president.

Just pull out, and to heck with it.

Really. I completely believe this.

100%

India is already a counterbalance to China. Also, Japan has been steadily building, and improving its military capabilities.

I heard the broadcast on Radio Beijing live as it happened on Shortwave, where the announcer said that people were being killed, he was quickly replaced.

ChiComs are trying to incite violence.

Then tell their puppet, Lam, to request PLA troops.

ChiComs are scared.

I think everyone is a little bit nervous.

China is getting stronger QUICKLY.

So called “American” companies have completely sold out, and nobody has done a thing.

30 years, this has been building up.

We should never have engaged China beginning with Nixon. All we’ve done is built them up at the world’s expense. Regarding Hong Kong, NOT OUR PROBLEM AND NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. The UK gave it back in the 90s, abandoned it to China. Surprised it has taken this long for them take what appears to be direct action on the area that is rightfully part of China.

If there is a violent crackdown in Hong Kong we should cancel all debt owned by China.

What can we do? Well, what concerns us is the millions of Chinese in the US. Begin with the students, SEND THEM HOME. All of them. Second, kick all Chinese out of sensitive roles where they steal our intellectual proprerty and spy on us. Third, close down birthing tourism! Fourth, wean American business and consumers off of Chinese products via tariffs. Starve China.

Trump government’d better not to get involved in China’s sovereignty issue.

I agree, but we badly, need to bring American manufacturing out of China.

Now.

Luckily our two enemies, one recognized by most people, the other not so much, are solid enemies of each other. Let them focus on each other and dare not touch or threaten us. Bad enough both India and China have equally invaded us with workers, anchor babies, thieving our intellectual property, and all. It will not end well if we do not put a stop to it. China may force our hand now, what will it take to get people to wake up to the equal threat from India?

Yup, and video was cut off even earlier.

That won’t be happening this time. They won’t be able to control the imagery or the narrative - but they will certainly try.

If China has to send troops to keep HK in line, that’s weaker not stronger. Like sending troops to keep California in line.

There are only 300,000 of them? I thought there were more. Are you including private schools, as well as colleges?

If anything ever broke out with us and China, we better bomb them back to the Stone Age. I would hate to ever go up against their massive army, they have so many people. But if it breaks out, we need to unleash everything on them, starting with a massive missle and bombing campaign. This is existential with them. Rain missles on them from everywhere, bomb them to the Stone Age, and never ever let this happen again.
