But the Catholics have been pro-Life so much, for so long, that for awhile the leftists were trying to dismiss "pro-life" as "some weird Catholic thing, you know, from Italians and stuff, not real Americans or anything."

And in the meantime, I suggest prayer to turn away the wrath of God, for not having stopped abortion ourselves, rather than allowing an atrocity which rivals that of Mao, right in our oh-so-Tony, Evangelical, God-has-blessed-me-with-a-new-car, country...might be in order.
