This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

Lord God,

We need You. You are faithful to every generation and You never forget or break Your covenants. How blessed we are that Your Word never fails, nor does it change. So many other things in our lives change every day, but You are the same yesterday, today, forever. So often we as humans do not keep our word, but You never forget Your promises. O Lord God, we are so blessed to be Your children. Thank You for being our God Who loves us.

We bless You for keeping Your promises to our military men and women. Lord, we know that when they are in danger, You are with them. You are with them in times of plenty and in times of want. When they lie down and sleep, they can do so in peace because You Who guard them neither slumber nor sleep. Lord, what blessings You heap upon their heads! We do praise and bless you!

Lord, we need not inform You of the frustration we feel regarding Congress’ inability to do what is right regarding illegal immigration. We give you our frustration over the constant assault against the Presidency of Donald Trump. We pray for Your desires to be given to the heart of each legislator, and for Your will to be done in this nation. We ask for supernatural wisdom for our President Trump and his cabinet members, and for the stabilization of the White House staff. Father, please protect him from every weapon that is formed against him, and help him to dwell in the secret place so that he can abide in Your shadow always.

We pray that Your people Israel may be sheltered under Your mighty wings. Strengthen their borders and keep them as the apple of Your eye. Thank You for the eternal promises You have made and Your faithfulness to those who bless Israel.

How comforting it is to know that You have gone to prepare a place for us----a place where fighting and strife shall cease, where those who abuse power will be no more, and where there are no more tears, sickness, or sorrow. Lord, help us to do our part to advance Your Kingdom so that we can hasten the day of Your return. Even so, Lord, come quickly. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We give you our frustration over the constant assault against the Presidency of Donald Trump.

Special prayer today for the residents for Baltimore and all major U.S. cities rotting under the corrupt thumb of liberal leadership. That Trump’s latest tweets drawing awareness to the failures of do-nothing, bully legislators like Elijah Cummings resonate with huge swaths of the public especially those who are normally apathetic or don’t identify as conservative. Please give the President Holy Spirit-driven momentum all the way into 2020 and a second term and continue to help him shape the narrative regarding the direction of our country. Victory. In Jesus’ name.

Let us, dear Lord, have hearts that are more and more open to You in the face of the wickedness we see every day, knowing the power of Your gospel to move every mountain and break every chain.

Let us, dear Lord, be placed and inspired so as to transmit unto our neighbors, even the ones we like the least, the same love You have given unto us. For humanity bumbles and fumbles in the dark, and much sin is due to ignorance and unbelief. Let us mirror what You said so tenderly on the cross — “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Let us, dear Lord, not be content with getting all our ritual right and then doing no more. For that kind of worship disgusts You. Let our joy in You go forth in a united manner from all of our respective local houses of Christian worship and intercept the situations of the orphan and of the widow, to great and visible glory and praise to You.

And if this be acceptable in Your sight, let us say Amen.
