Leftist Regressives apply litmus tests to their nominees, Republicans don’t.
It’s long past time for the ‘Pubs to wake up and do the same. Otherwise, we’ll get more phonies such as Stevens, Kennedy, Roberts, and Kavanaugh. Scalia and Thomas are the standards.

I don’t know. You would think as folks mature they would become conservative and rational. Amazing how many “conservative” appointees spoil to the left.

There is only 1 example of that - Byron White, appointed by JFK. The reason this does not happen more often is because of the neo-Marxism prevalent in our universities, which makes leftism the preordained inclination of almost all of academia.
Because we as Christians don't pray for them enough.

White was seen as a disappointment by some Kennedy supporters who wished he had joined the more liberal wing of the court in its opinions on Miranda v. Arizona and Roe v. Wade.
The reason some turn: The left dominates the main stream media, most of education, law school (where the law clerks come from) and much of social media-the left pressures and applauds what they want, values come from secular viewpoint- (according to Gallup survey 25% of college professors are avowed atheist)-anything else is derided.

JFK got Byron "Whizzer" White (a former Heisman Trophy winner) onto the Supreme Court and he turned into a solid pro-life conservative. Of course, we're talking 60 years ago. I think Democrats have, since then, decided they would never let that happen again. From Clinton and Obama, there is nothing but a steady stream of far-left judges.
Because to them it's a religion worn on their shirtsleeves. To us it's someone who claims they are an originalist and they never pledge to be "conservative" and then they turn.
