A New York federal judge has issued an order definitively blocking the Trump administration from adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census in any form, despite the administration's insistence it has abandoned plans to add a question on the census.

Way past time for this. Put the damn question on there and tell the courts to pound sand. I think we are in some ways doing this to ourselves by putting so much emphasis on judicial nominations. We should be putting our effort into taking power back from the judicial branch, making judges accountable through impeachment and getting rid of lifetime appointments.

I did that for the 2020 census where it asked for my ethnicity. However, I was more specific: I wrote AMERICAN citizen.

The attorneys who argued the case at SC messed up by saying it was for Voter Act. All they had to say it was on there for 100’s of years until 2000 when previous President removed it. I personally believe the attorneys sabotaged the case on purpose and thus the reason DOJ fired them and wanted to replace them with new attorneys.
The best solution, IMHO, is to import and distribute (strategically) about 300 of those classic Soviet/Russian umbrellas...

Census workers only contact a small percentage of homes...those that do not return their survey....it is about 10% or so.
Do it anyway, Mr President. Absolve, in advance, those who will implement, but do it!
It’s well past time for a showdown with these activist judges legislating from the bench.
Checks and Balances are gone:
Any Federal Judge can check anything or anyone in the Executive Branch immediately and categorically, and the entire Executive Branch has no viable recourse - except lengthy lawfare lawsuits that further the left’s purposes.
