If you got popcorn popping in your pockets, you do not need tinfoil, you need butter. Lol.
Non-lethal weapons mean the USAF doesn’t have to cause permanent harm to convince people to turn back. They also control the roads and can deny vehicles access; hiking across miles and miles of dessert is no fun for the average activist either.
The military in recent years has not been tasked with securing the border. When the military is sent to the border they are working as support for the Border Patrol. Different game, different rules. My greatest wish is for the military to be tasked with securing the border, once the border is secure with wall, technology in place they can turn it back over to the BP.
That won’t happen but I can dream.
Sure does and I can not believe so many Freepers do not understand that simple fact.
Do they kill everyone that trespasses? Of course not, but they are authorized to do so if need be.
Yes, We both can Dream ON

LOL, no, I don’t think I have. I meant state and county police.
Sorry.
It's my paraphrase of movie scene dialogue. Sorry I made you trust that I was using the historical record of Patton's words. I have read about 7 or 8 books about Patton, though.
Guys like me on FR quote Caddyshack,Animal House,Airplane and other masterpieces of comedy, and once in a while a Clint Eastwood or Seinfeld one.
Now I found the exact quote in Patton film:
Col.Richard N. Jensen:What are you doing there, soldier? Soldier getting up from floor: Trying to get some sleep, sir.
Patton: Well, get back down there, son. You're the only son of a bitch in this headquarters who knows what he's trying to do.
Thanks!
(Looks like the movie producer put words into Patton’s mouth.)
Base open house at Grand Forks AFB back in the late 1980's. The Blue Angels were there. The Thunderbirds had been booked elsewhere.
