Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, when Billy Joel dedicated a song to his “good friends” Bill and Hillary Clinton, there was an adverse reaction from the audience.
At first, the crowd cheered, and then the boos drowned everything else out.

They are, but there are many rock and roll types who hate liberals. I know I’d be pissed if, after spending good money to attend a concert, to have scum like them introduced. Politics should be kept out of entertainment.

The original Joel fans were from Long Island. Many travel into NYC to see his shows. Many conservatives are still here. Nassau and Suffolk County combined, Trump beat Hillary in 2016.
You have to realize to much of the rest of the country, the entire NE other than Maine is a liberal continuum.
Some not so leftist enclaves, sure, but on the whole, that does not matter.
The way I understand it, both were not present, but both were only the subject of a song dedication on the part of . . . good heavens . . . I hope not Billy Joel.
