Best-selling author Vicky Ward reported Tuesday that Alexander Acosta told the Trump transition team when asked about his handling of Jeffrey Epstein's case that "I was told Epstein 'belonged to intelligence' and to leave it alone."
Here's a clue as to what intelligence agency may be behind Epstein via The Memory Hole:
Epstein's pals include heads of state, entrepreneurs, academics and research scientists, celebrities, and numerous beautiful women, notably Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of media mogul Robert Maxwell (né Ján Ludvík Hyman Binyamin Hoch). Robert Maxwell, head of the Mirror Group Newspapers, was alleged to be a Mossad agent by Seymour Hersh in his 1991 book on Israel's nuclear program, The Samson Option. Maxwell denied the charge and sued Hersh for libel, but he died in November 1991, and the suit died with him. Hersh countersued and eventually received an apology and a settlement.
This has led to the speculation that Ghislaine Maxwell has Mossad connections as well. She was instrumental in procuring young girls for Epstein, in a constant supply for his use, her own use, and for loans to others. According to the testimony of several of the girls involved, they not only serviced Epstein and Maxwell but also their associates, including Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and other powerful players. The girls were asked to bring back reports on their liaisons, which were sometimes filmed with hidden cameras. These look like high-end blackmail operations, with Epstein and Maxwell skimming sex off the top for their own sick pleasure.

Actually take that one step further - I imagine that just about the only people who could take down a billionaire pervert blackmailer of the powerful would be people in very high office. So why wouldn’t he pay them off by giving them the blackmail info so they can run it themselves? He protects himself by cutting them in.

You cannot actually know that. All you can allege is that Trump isn't recorded as flying on the Lolita Express... but presuming that Trump is incapable of flying there on another plane (or arriving by boat) is a bit silly.
I know that we all hope that he isn't involved in it... and his banning of Epstein is very strong circumstantial evidence against the notion... but you cannot make the blanket statement with any sort of authority.
And as a possible rebuttal to the Epstein banning... Epstein supposedly made his money through the blackmailing of the elites... maybe playboy Trump did have a tryst with one of Epstein's underage victims, and Epstein tried to bribe Trump... and that's what brought on the ban. (Some folks do not surrender to blackmail.) If this wild and unfounded speculation of mine is correct, then Epstein could show the Trump tapes, or make the claim publicly... but maybe he never had any, and the blackmail was a bluff based just on the knowledge of the event.
In short, we know nothing. It's all guesswork until something substantive appears.
All I said is that Trump was never on Pedophile Island, but somehow your busy little neurons painted a picture of something very different.
Trump said he was never there, and I believe him.
Why? Because, in forty years, I've never known him to lie about any matter where deeper fact checking could reveal him to be untruthful - have you?
In fact, I challenge anyone to come up with proof positive that Trump has ever blatantly lied to anyone, about anything. The man has a long history of being an honest, straight shooter. That quality was essential to his business success.
He may have some less than admirable personality quirks, but lying (ala Clintons, et al) isn't one of them.
I'm actually wondering why you would even suspect Trump of being untruthful about this.
