President Donald Trump on Wednesday called news reports that the Commerce Department would drop its plans to ask people if they are U.S. citizens on the 2020 census “FAKE.”

Trump’s claim came a day after Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the Census Bureau is in the process of printing the census questionnaire without the citizenship question.

But Trump, in a tweet, said, “The News Reports about the Department of Commerce dropping its quest to put the Citizenship Question on the Census is incorrect or, to state it differently, FAKE!”

Just do it. If half of California refuses to answer the census then they will lose a ton of seats in the future.

Trump's pathological insistence on a census citizenship question is the fingerprint of a lifelong xenophobe.— Stephen King (@StephenKing) July 3, 2019

Trump is now defying a Supreme Court decision that vacated his decision to add the citizenship question to the Census. One day after pledging that the 2020 census wouldn't ask about citizenship, the Justice Department reversed course today on orders from Trump.

Put the question on the Census, and if the crap ass Stupreme Court doesn’t like it, then let them stop the Census.

Because as it stands right now, I am going to write on my Census that I am a US citizen, and not one thing else, because the other questions are less important.

Since the citizenship question is on the more detailed family survey which is typically sent to about 10% of households, the President should have the Census Bureau send that survey along with the general census form to every household Problem solved.

An old Chinese proverb “ pure gold does not fear the furnace” applies nicely to this dilemma, if one is legal there is nothing to fear by answering a simple question. the only fear is Democrats could lose votes

Nah, Rep. Tlaib says such a question will make her mom “hesitate”, and everyone knows, especially Chief Obama Justice Roberts, the Traitor, that hesitation should be avoided at any and all costs, because seconds are so very precious.

Brilliant idea to send the long form to everybody. Send your suggestion to PDJT cc to Stephanie Grisham.

Just print up the freakin’ forms with it on it. What are they going to do? Stop the presses? I doubt it. Then the people who don’t answer the Citizenship question, can be harassed at home like those of us who refused to fill the last form out completely, were harassed.
