ABC, CBS and NBC will not show Donald Trump's 'Salute to America' on the Fourth of July instead of their nightly newscasts
However, the networks will air the Independence Day celebration on their respective online and app streaming platforms
Fox News will have a two-hour special on the event and C-SPAN will air it live
CNN hasn't commented on its plans for the hour-long event, kicking off on the National Mall at 6.30pm
Trump touted his 'Salute to America' as being 'like no other' and plans to give a speech at the Lincoln Memorial as he shows off the US military's might

Hey, some can’t live without seeing yet another rerun of Jeopardy. Especially over our national holiday and salute to big bad simply awful America, right? How many demonrat Senators and Reps will be tuned into Jeopardy instead?

Since the tickets for the VIP seating for the event are being filled by the White House and the RNC, their excuse is that it’s a political rally and they don’t cover those.
