I guarantee AF 1 and 2 have secure comms channels in-use on every flight, in addition to standard FAA communications.
We had them activated for every mission C5s flew, and that was typically just humanitarian relief cargo, not the leaders of the free world. I know, because as a secure comms specialist, I loaded the codes.

Same here. If that happened, the US military would be on a high alert status and officials would be in the "situation room" likely with use of the hotline to Putin. There's no indication of any of that. Also, the Russian sub that was on fire reportedly has been towed back to Severomorsk which is close to the Finnish border and not anywhere near Alaska.
Never said they werent on board only that I doubt they were used, particularly flying into the densest commercial airspace in the country when there, at least on a flight to NH was no seeming trouble. Of course since the media now say Pence never left DC this is all moot
