VP Pence was called back to the WH to deal with an emergency. He was on AF2, going to an event in Salem NH. The event has been cancelled.
The white house is saying that Pence never left DC.
There are so many conflicting and speculative reports about things out there right now that No one can be sure what to believe.

I saw coverage of AF2 returning to DC and of Pence returning to White House discussed on both CNN and Fox Business News an hour ago...
Evidently Freedom56v2 saw VPOTUS return to DC....

But earlier news coverage seems to have been scrubbed.
Not all flights “go somewhere.”
More flights are training flights to retain and improve skills.

Interesting. The “reporting” I saw was along of the lines of “his plane has turned around” which almost instantly became “Pence is now at the White House” and that made no sense to me. Like a Hollywood movie where Time and Space can be ignored if you need to move the plot along.
If he never left Washington, this all makes much more sense.
