On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez defended the proposal of health care for immigrants who entered the United States illegally.
Thursday at the Democratic debate all ten candidates raised their hands when asked if they support health care for undocumented immigrants.
Perez said, “It’s an insurance program, so you got to pay into it. Immigrants, including undocumented immigrants, pay billions of dollars in taxes. That is the reality.”
He continued, “Democrats believe that you should be able to buy into a health insurance system. It is not a handout.”
He added, “I live in a community right now where if you are a pregnant woman and you are undocumented, we provide you with access to health care because we believe that having good prenatal care is an essential health care issue an essential issue of economics and frankly an essential issue of morality. The party of Lincoln is dead, and one of the things that died with it is compassion, and this is not a handout. again, this is allowing people to buy into an insurance program, people who pay billions of dollars in taxes.”

Goodness! My fiancee is here legally and I have to pay full price for her insurance. Through the ‘Marketplace’, it’s $600/month just for catastrophic coverage! And others are so terrible, I believe it to be cheaper not to have any ins. at all. If anyone has any advice about healthcade, I would appreciate it. BTW, I am in my 50s, medically retired, and on Medicare. I make too much (so they say) to get any help with her coverage. She’s in her 50s also.

Notice how he lumps “immigrants” in with illegals. Once again ... where is the research/data/proof that illegals pay billions in taxes? They do pay sales taxes when purchasing items (but not likely since they get welfare).
So separate out the immigrants ... we are not talking about them. We need to constantly force them to talk about there plans for “illegals”.
The illegals contrary to law or what liberals say receive more benefits.........for free to them than legal residents of America at the expense of our Veterans, children and homeless and the democrats don't give a damn not a single one! I can't believe that the Blacks are too blind to see that the democrats have thrown them completely over for illegals.
The only tax illegals pay is sales tax. And that’s if they don’t steal it.
