President Trump vowed Saturday to “immediately” appeal a judge’s ruling blocking funding for his border wall, while reviving threats to proceed with stalled deportation raids as soon as a week from now.
The president discussed his immigration plans as part of a wide-ranging press conference following the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan.
His administration, just after notching a win with the passage of a $4.6 billion bill to address the humanitarian crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border, was dealt a blow Friday when a California judge barred Trump from tapping $2.5 billion in military funding to build high-priority segments of the border wall in California, Arizona and New Mexico. Judge Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr. in Oakland acted in two lawsuits filed by California and by activists who contended the money transfer was unlawful and construction would pose environmental threats.
"We're immediately appealing it and we think we'll win the appeal," Trump said at his press conference, calling the decision a disgrace. "There was no reason that that should have happened.”
Meanwhile, the president made clear that despite the passage of the aid package in Congress, he plans to move forward with controversial Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids absent a deal on reforming the asylum process, which he described as unlikely.

If the “Republicans” ever regain control of the House, one of their first jobs is to impeach the traitorous leftist judges who have hallucinated their perverted interpretation of the Constitution.
And if the crooked judges are not convicted the first time by the Senate, impeach the traitors again.
Wasn’t this already ruled on? Also the transfer was under the declaration of emergency. There is no judicial review of declaration of emergency because it is precisely going outside the law. The only option to stop an emergency declaration is that congress can over-ride it.

That’s not a “win”. That is money for the welcoming party. Feeding, sheltering, medicating, transporting, and processing them for release into the country.

The border is open now because the repubs want it open.

I don’t know how they will ever make the argument again that we need a republican house. What difference did it really make for us last time? None.

Fine, setup FEMA trailers in the Parking Lot of the Federal Courthouse and use the Bu8ilding to House Illegal Aliens, they can conduct Court in the Temporary Trailers.
Trump will appeal- spit, again ceding executive branch’s powers to the Judiciary where the back stabbing traitor Roberts is waiting with his knife to shove in our back. In the meantime the invasion continues and Texas gets close and closer to falling and when they do fall it’s truly over.

Love President Trump and an appeal is fine, but what he really should be saying is that he’s proceeding with the wall anyway and ignoring the judges unconstitutional, and out of jurisdiction ruling. Unless he plans on doing that anyway and is just keeping it quiet.
He should send in a squad of Marines and declare a judicial emergency and take this guy to Gitmo.

knowing these people have been determined to be deported, you would think Trump would see a ministerial duty to deport them and stop using it as negotiating tool.

Mr Trump, you seem to learn very damn slowly. You are letting them userp CLEAR executive authority thus STOPPING fulfillment of your campaign promises. They are not tying you up or delaying you, they are STOPPING you cold. You have a sworn duty to protect this country from the invasion we are all helplessly watching occur.
If he starts with massive deportations now maybe he can get the rate up to what it was between 2008 and 2013. Maybe even more than that.
He would only have to double the rate from 2018 to equal 2012.
All because of judges blocking his effort?
