I want French cognac the rest of my life and a supply of chocolate fudge for the slinky ladies in my life. Add in a Heckler and Koch MG-5 and 100,000 rounds of ammo for socialist varmint control and color me happy.

The Democrat party, promising government force to fix everything, yet ruining all that they touch.

>>Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) walked through the spin room...<<

If you haven’t figured it out by now, let me give you a clue. Hickenlooper will be the Dem nominee. He’s the only Bilderberger and CFR creep in the whole lot of Dem candidates. Sure, he has to overcome a lack on name recognition but he will pull money out of the hat magically and make a “shockingly strong run coming from nowhere” soon. The story line is already written, just waiting for the best timing to go to press.

That’s my theory anyway.

The Wealthiest and Corporations don’t pay any Taxes?

I did not know that.

"FReeper Twotone: "While one may vote oneself into socialism one has to shoot oneself out of it.”"

Regarding socialism, misguided 2020 Democrats actually need to get themselves elected to their respective state governments to serve the people, not the federal government, for the following reasons.

First, the states have never expressly constitutionally given the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds the specific power to tax and spend for the poorly managed federal social spending programs that we now have.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

The Founding States authorized only the states to experiment with social spending programs, evidenced by the 10th Amendment.

"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

In fact, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had clarified that the feds cannot appropriate taxes in the name of state power issues, basically anything that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Also note that the congressional record shows that constitutional lawmaker Rep. John Bingham had emphasized that the states had left the care of the people to the states, not the federal government.

”... the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)

Regarding the good intentions of misguided 2020 Democrats, Justice Brandeis had appropriately reflected on Bingham’s words about unique STATE powers to care for the people, such care based on what the legal majority citizen voters of a given state want, when he wrote the following.

"It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose [emphasis added], serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country.” — Justice Brandeis, Laboratories of democracy.

Note that constitutional limits on states as laboratories of democracy is that states cannot establish privileged / protected classes or abridge constitutionally enumerated rights, and must maintain a constitutionally guaranteed republican form of government.

The reason that federal social spending programs now exist is that FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring activist majority justices scandalously “nuked” 10th Amendment-protected state sovereignty when they wrongly decided Wickard v. Filburn in Congress’s favor imo.

In other words, nearly all federal social spending programs are based on state powers and state revenues that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds have been stealing from the states since the time of the FDR Administration, and continue to steal, state revenues stolen by means of unconstitutional federal taxes indicated in the Gibbon v. Ogden excerpt.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

In fact, using inappropriate words like "concept" and "implicit" here is what was left of 10th Amendment-protected state sovereignty after FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring majority justices got finished with it in Wickard v. Filburn.

If the states would wake up and claim their sovereignty then each state would ultimately find new revenues to establish the kind of social spending programs that its citizen voters are willing to pay for.

Regarding a wake-up call for the states, patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to support PDJT’s vision for MAGA, now KAG, but will also promise to surrender state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states back to the states, and put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes indicated by the Gibbons v. Ogden excerpt.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

And to make such changes permanent, patriots also need to support PDJT in leading the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

Remember in November 2020!

MAGA! Now KAG!

If they dwell on socialism, it’ll be a blowout in 2020, of epic proportions.

There was a time that I thought socialism would NEVER be a winning argument in this country, HOWEVER with ALL of the young people attending universities today I think we are closer to socialism than WE ever thought imaginable!!! The younger generation TRULY believe that the big bad corporations make enough money to supply healthcare to ALL, that they make enough money to pay off ALL student debt NOW and going forward the young people today BELIEVE that these are all RIGHTS they have just for being born here!!! The government has convinced everyone that a college education is a must to succeed today, this education is where these young people are spoon fed propaganda NOW these liberals are finding that 4 years is not enough to completely brainwash the younger generations SO they are starting in the 1st grade!!! These kids are being taught global warming from the 1st grade on!!! If we have ANY chance of saving this country from the grips of socialism parents need to get their kids OUT of the public school system AND the university systems and into trade schools AND home schooling through high school!!! Parents NEED to team up and hold classes throughout their neighborhoods actually teaching the kids history, math, English, and the sciences!!!

Agreed. I was born in 1949, went thru grade school, Jr HS and HS, in the 50s & early-60s, and College in th late 60s. I saw it coming right after I graduated in 1971. Kids today don’t have a chance. They’re being indoctrinated and brainwashed into socialism, from day one in these lousy schools.
