Really? Who can’t find a job in this economy?
Someone who does not want to work or cannot work due to an addiction to alcohol or drugs.
Who? People in their late 50s or early 60s with medical problems. Employers won’t touch them.
The key question is why do democrats like taking money from those that earn it and give to those that dont. Gosh I hate those peop!e
Not only that, the tax receipts have increased (more taxpayers = more tax revenue with lower tax rates) - so they want less revenue in order to pay for a new program?
I’m a 60-year-old technical writer who was laid off last October. Since then I have made some money as an Uber driver and a podcaster, but it’s not as much as I made in the past. Most employers around here say I’m overqualified for the job openings available; I suspect age discrimination is a factor, too. However, I get a lot of emails from people looking to hire for sales positions; just WHAT do they see in my resume that says I am good for “sales?”
