Alabama Republican Roy Moore has announced he is running for U.S. Senate again in 2020 after failing to win the seat two years ago amid sexual misconduct accusations.
Moore announced his campaign Thursday, seeking an eventual rematch against Democratic Sen. Doug Jones. The announcement upends an election viewed by Republicans as a top priority in 2020 and ignores President Donald Trump's warning that he "cannot win."

You can argue with that opinion all you want. But through my interactions with southerners that is what I have observed. That’s not to say most of them that I’ve met were fine honest and polite people and I like them but those that I’ve know were very prideful and did in fact make poor career and life decisions because of it.

... because he will he completely ineffective as a U.S. Senator with no allies in Washington.
The same was said for Trump as a U.S. President.
But it didn't turn out that way. Not at all.
Those who said so were mistaken.

It has nothing to do with the media. Moore is a loser.
2001-2003; 2013-2017: Chief Justice, Alabama Supreme Court
1992-2000: Judge, Circuit 16 Court (Etowah County)
1984-1992: Attorney in private practice
1977-1982: Prosecuting attorney[7]
West Point grad and Vietnam vet. If thats a loser I would hate to see what you would think about my resume!

“You can argue with that opinion all you want.”
And your idiocy is not an opinion?
Despite my pledge not to try reason with you, I cannot resist asking. There are tens of millions of Southerners. How many do you know, and did you use cutting edge poll analysis to arrive at your conclusion.
Pride is listed as the first of the seven deadly sins and predates Southerners quite a bit.
Is you looking down your nose in judgmental evaluation pride on your part?

Yes. Sessions didn’t scope out teenage girls at the mall as a man in his thirties or whatever to date.

Trump is an executive. Thats where a strong, principled leader should seek to make an impact not as one of 100 nitwits in a legislative body where you will get absolutely nothing done unless youre willing to compromise most of your principles away.
No offense to Roy Moore, but hes been in government for almost his entire adult life. If hes reached his 70s and his signature achievement was to get a giant statue of the Ten Commandments installed in a courthouse, then hes been about 100 miles south of useless as far as Im concerned.

Sorry, I stand corrected, I thought he was older.

He is a disaster which will cost the GOP a senate seat!
To: DiogenesLamp
The guy is hated by many Republicans in Al.

Jones will win anyway if Moore is the opponent. He can at least throw the election without republican $ or help.
