Not only has Trump not lost any of his base, he’s GAINED a lot of support. A lot of former dems/libs are waking up to truth.

Yup. If you want to persuade rational people to vote for you the argument needs to be "Trump's policies are bad on A, B, and C..."
"Trump is Hitler" just drives them straight away. It's so over-the-top that only the fully irrational will even listen.
