Every nation on the Persian Gulf dislikes Iran and would love to see the US get into a fight with them. Any of them, could recruit the expertise for such an attack. Saudi Arabia is the leading suspect there.
Israel would like the US to fight Iran. They have the means and expertise for such an attack.
The Russians owe us payback for Afghanistan and would love to see us entangled in yet ANOTHER war. They also have the means and the expertise.
The PRC, ditto.
This is a case of “Lets You and Him fight” on the behalf of other nations that do not have the best interests of the US in mind. The attack didn’t benefit Iran, and fighting Iran on the behalf those other nations doesn’t benefit us. We should tell them to shovel their own $#!+.
We should remember the Gulf of Tonkin, and how the Kuwaitis manipulated us with the babies being thrown out incubators story.
This whole thing stinks of deception and manipulation.
Nope.
Even blind hogs find an acorn now and then.
When you find that acorn, let me know.
More like a case of blind hogs or stopped clocks.
But it is in our nation’s interest to get entangled in yet another war, esp. on the behalf of nations that do not have the US’s best interest in mind.
I don’t have to.
You need to find conclusive evidence that Iran attacked the tankers.
That’s been produced. Your conspiracy theories have not provided evidence, only conspiracy conjecture. Its all about your ‘feelings’.
Usually not... but we are now talking about the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, who have been in a proxy war with us for decades already. Just last week, they threatened to destabilize the region if the US doesn't stop our sanctions against them... and then this week, our drones and two tankers are attacked. It's not difficult to connect the dots... and while a healthy caution to avoid war is appreciated, it is long past time to deal with Iran, and it is the right time to do so while we have a President who has the guts to do it.... because it will be decades, if not longer, before our Congress will ever support any US military action anywhere on earth.
Who gains from a war on Iran? My guesses are the Saudis and the Israelis.
Agree with this. Will be advising young family members to NOT join the military unless it is to defend the US. Messing around in the Middle East is NOT in that category.
Same guy who rushes to the defense of Maduro and Castro.
Regardless of how we decide to deal with this issue, at the very least we need to acknowledge it for what it is. Some here, like Little Ray, want to avoid a war. Well, so do I. But that doesn't mean ignoring that fact that the Iranians did attack at least 6 tankers now in the last two weeks with mines. This cognitive dissonance of some is amazing.
I fondly recall when the dreaded Navigator called him "thought tomato" during a heated discussion. I still chuckle over that one.
No one cares, Bernie. You are the leader of zombies, burn-outs and homos. Your people all want goods and services they haven’t earned, and want no responsibility whatsoever. Pound sand you wannabee Marxist geezer.
Bernie cant even defend a podium.
Bernie is off his meds again.

“My guesses are the Saudis and the Israelis.”
We (I am Israeli) are net oil importers.
So, no, increases in oil prices kill our economy, especially since we have few direct oil-trading partners and have to go through middle-men who mark it up.
Hey Sanders! You cant even win one out of 7 coin tosses so you can just STFU!
Are you John "Bluto" Blutarsky?
He’s dead Jim.
Only excessive drug use could leave Bernie this messed up.
