Does anything in the entire country work correctly when it comes to gubment at any level let alone kalifornia?

Yesterday I saw that the little local town has bought a huge three section tractor mounted flail mower. They only have one place along any of the streets that is wide enough to use it so they are dragging it through the ditches making more mud holes. The mess they leave in their wake is worse than now mowing at all.

Although I live in Texas, we lived in Los Angeles county 5 times... I still listen to KFI am radio on internet. Every day I listen to John & Ken show, It is on from 4 to 8pm our time. Two hours earlier out there. They have been talking about this train boondoggle for several years! It is such a waste of money!
