Eric Swalwell Has a Plan for Handguns Once AR-15s Are Confiscated

During an appearance on CNN’s SE Cupp Unfiltered, Democrat presidential hopeful Eric Swalwell made clear he has a plan for handguns he will pursue after AR-15s are confiscated.

Cupp began the segment on Saturday with Swalwell by telling him she appreciates the fact that he is one of the few leftist candidates who admits he plans to take away an entire category of firearms.

Cupp pointed out that “assault weapons” are involved in “less that five percent of gun murders” in America. She then asked Swalwell why he is “stopping at ‘assault weapons’ …and not confiscating handguns, which account for the vast majority of gun deaths.”

Swalwell made clear he also has a plan for handguns, but he is focused on getting rid of “assault weapons” first.

Ummmm...no you are wrong. I can own..and frankly you can own a fully automatic weapon...if you want to.

To the LEFT any weapon is an assault weapon.

I'm kinda done with you...

Enough to seize/freeze checking accounts, Social Security distributions, etc. It’s not all or nothing. The left just continues its pressure.

“Enough to seize/freeze checking accounts, Social Security distributions, etc.”

How will they seize checking accounts when they’re hiding in rabbit holes ?

That’s the good thing about these commie c-suckers... they announce what they want to do.

Just smile, nod and grin.

Then click the safety off.

OK. Freeze them. Just takes a few keyboard clicks. The IRS does it all the time with tax delinquents.

How does the IRS freeze accounts when the IRS buildings have burned to the ground?

I am impressed that you have the divisions, firepower, training, courage and leadership to lead the assaults on the IRS buildings.

Have you taken into account in your planning that the agents who will do the freezing will mostly likely do so with a laptop from some other off-site, unidentified facility? Granted, if you are successful with your assaults on the IRS buildings they will probably gum up the works of the DemonRat administration, for a time at least. Starve the beast. I like it.

"...depends on how hard-nosed..."

Exactly. The internet bravado gets a little tiring around here at times.
Most of the country is very comfortable with big-screen televisions.

If real leftwingers get in control they will smoke-out probably 97% of gunowners.
They will start by freezing assets, freezing credit cards, and telling employers a "gun criminal" is working for them.

Then it will move to intermittent water, gas, electricity, and telecom outages.
In the vast majority of instances a shot will never be fired. Conservatives are good, reliable, and predictable people. The "blaze of glory" event is extraordinarily unlikely.

Very true. Also keep in mind that civil wars are not as much fun as some people may think.

"Any semi-auto rifle that is chambered for 5.56mm/.223 cal., 9mm, .30 cal, and 7.62/.308 cal."

You forgot the Antifa drug addicts' favorite rifle cartridges: 7.62x39 and 5.45×39mm.

Me? Assault IRS buildings? I would NEVER do that. You have a good comicbook imagination. Once the democrat herds in the cities learn that there’s billions of dollars in IRS buildings, they will destroy the IRS buildings.

Once my Second Amendment rights are forfeit and mooted, so too all all their First, fifth and Seventh rights washed away. And Corruption of suspect blood shall be the new order of the day.

Again. The IRS will be weaponized to seize/freeze assets (including home, vehicles, IRA, Social Security, Medicare, etc.) of those identified to possess semi-auto rifles of military caliber. The burden of proof will be on the so-called owners. Many/ most will not be able to withstand this financial pressure. A National Firearm Registry will be a “mark of the beast”. In the early stages federal brown shirts will not be required to go door-2-door.

....and with this one action, firearms normally kept in storage would be broken out and used.

And the next day the IRS would no longer exist.

Hmmmm. Well, I suppose if you have “enough(?)” weapons there may be a need for storage.

Better later than never (your reply), I guess .

I know your belief is shared by many conservatives, but I have a serious question. If the feds provide a drop-off location to surrender firearms, which presumably will be heavily fortified, for a defined grace period before releasing the IRS digital orders to freeze accounts of the recalcitrants - who are 2nd Amendment defenders going to shoot?
