Oklahoma Republican state Sen. Jonathan Nichols was found dead Friday, making him the second GOP state senator to be shot to death in the last two days.
Police reportedly found Nichols, 53, dead by a gunshot wound in Norman, Oklahoma, Wednesday night. His death comes two days after police reportedly discovered former Arkansas Republican state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith dead from a gunshot wound and wrapped in some kind of blanket.

I’m putting my money on conspiracy. Too much crap hitting too many fans. Dems are on the ropes for 2020, and they know it. John Brown’s body lies a-mouldering in the ground, but terror and murder keep marching on.
One thing to look into is whether governors of Arkansas and Oklahoma are Dems, so would appoint Dem temporary replacements.
Wasn’t a conservative activist found shot to death in Georgia recently?

Just looked up Oklahoma, and Governor Kevin Stitt is a conservative Republican. So if this was politically motivated in either state, it was pure spite, not jockeying for control of the legislature.

She was shot dead in Georgia, and found when she was already decomposed. But she had once served on the Arkansas legislature.
