No wonder Robert Mueller does not want to testify before any congressional committees. The Special Counsel Report that bears his name (that many observers theorize was actually supervised by Andrew Weissman, who has a track record of deceptive practices causing his politically-charged convictions to be overturned) has been exposed as omitting key information to create false impressions of wrong-doing among the public. It joins the Steele Dossier in ignominy as vile propaganda, and part of the greatest political scandal in American history – the concerted effort of unelected law enforcement and intelligence bureaucrats to determine the results of an election, and when frustrated in that goal, to undo it. Pwerhaps somedsy it will be known as the “Weissman dossier” to put it in proper context.
We first found out about this betrayal of the public trust by Team Mueller at the beginning of the week because:
…the government filed “on the public docket ‘the transcript of the voicemail recording’ from President Trump’s attorney John Dowd to Michael Flynn.” That recording -- in doctored form -- had been part of the Mueller Report section on obstruction of justice.
The unexpected release of source material used by Team Mueller exposed the trickery. Now, the intelligence community and FBI bureaucrats are doing their best to obstruct the release of other source documents. I suspect that many Democrats who demanded the release of Mueller’s source document now regret that demand and hope that we all forget about it.
Now, a second egregious omission intended to mislead has been exposed by John Solomon of The Hill, who has throughout this scandal has dug down and exposed the facts,

Mueller wasn’t hired to find the truth. He was hired to create and deliver a product. That product being information that could undermine Trump. Everything he’s done is in line with that. While that’s typically how prosecutors work, there’s usually a fig leaf of pursuing justice.
Yep and he got stopped dead in his tracks by serious dedicated Patriots.
Im surprised that the Deep State Intel was unable to effectively frame Trump, unable to make something up that would not fall apart under scrutiny.
In addition to being traitors, they are not very good at their jobs.
These facts coming out is another great example of how “transparency” is helping us. Barr let the public have the whole Mueller report (with redactions). I’ll bet Mueller would rather have seen Barr not do that.
And the Dems were screaming for transparency. Now transparency is shining light on the ugly truth.
The Dems are unhinged and grasping at any straw they can find to criticize Trump. And it’s backfiring. Pelosi’t “I want to see Trump in prison” is outrageous. Imagine, this woman as Speaker of the House is third in line to become President!
So now we’re going to have to add another phrase to “They never thought she’d lose” “They never thought Barr would release the whole report” or maybe, “How dumb do they think Americans are?”
Did they forget that Al Gore invented the internet or something? That no one could put 2 & 2 together? What were they thinking?
I am still confused as to why Barr has not corrected Mueller’s misrepresentation of the DOJ/OLC’s directive concerning indicting a sitting president. Mueller called it a DOJ policy while simultaneously saying that such an indictment would be “unconstitutional”.
It’s the last statement (unconstitutional) that makes his following the directive “correct” but his mis-characterization of it being a DOJ policy is just wrong. Barr should correct him...publicly.
The DOJ directive, as evidenced by Mueller’s use of the word “unconstitutional” carries the weight of legal decision...a constitutional legality. The OLC issued the directive (note: not “policy”) as a legal decision according to their (OLC) research and constitutional review of the question, likely posed from an internal source (way back in the Nixon era, IIRC). This is the work of lawyers tasked with oversight of the DOJ - THEY will argue all cases to the SCOTUS.
This directive then has the gravitas of a SCOTUS decision as it directs the DOJ that any actions taken by a sitting POTUS while exercising his Article 2 authority as The Executive, cannot be found illegal and indictable. Any such indictment would be summarily dismissed if brought before the SCOTUS, regardless of the judges’ individual ideological backgrounds.
This directive then intercepts any consideration of an indictment by a DOJ investigation that focuses on Article 2 authorized acts by (any) POTUS.
In this, too, Mueller was “technically correct”, such an indictment cannot be considered simply because ^such an investigation^ cannot be considered. That is not a simple DOJ “policy, though. It is a DIRECTIVE rendered by the OLC. It has the force of a SCOTUS decision.
Simply, it says that if any indictment of this type is brought forward, they will decline to prosecute (and anyone who would bring one will be fired because they are too stupid to work for the DOJ). The DOJ only prosecutes cases that they now they will win. The OLC says, “we won’t win this one, boys.”
I’ll caveat that last by adding...”as long as the Constitution stands.”

In Court what they look at is written and recorded statements as evidence
The Democrat party and its great zeal to try to destroy this wonderful man are great and wonderful president Donald J Trump , has made a myriad of mistakes errors and committed multiple felonies
Its very clear they use the intelligence agencies before during and after the election to try to spy on and set this great man up
This pathetic stupid farted and448 page Mueller report is a big ball of nothing shouldve never been put out by any stretch of the imagination
if you look at what real prosecutors do and now provide the blueprint for those that are going to prosecute these scumbag cabal characters on their illegal activities
Fortunately for us on the conservative side the left is very very very stupid
What day of Canada on since the Clinton era is it the price is 100% on their side and will not only not go after Danville bowl December and protect them at all costs
Because they have so nakedly attacks are a great president now I think enough of the American public is oddities people and the sympathy for any of these Democrat characters is going to be very very small
Of course all of us that have been watching the clintons get away with literally murder for all these decades say oh hon lets see at least some indictments OK?

If I understand your concern, I suspect AG Barr is playing it coy. While not overtly undermining the SC's product (department morale, Dem attacks, that sort of thing), Barr is selectively leaking day to day the data that is increasingly discrediting the Mueller Report. That endeavor is encouraging the oppo press to follow suit, revealing even more tarnish on the SC's plate.
Within a few months - at most - even Jerrold Nadler will not want to cite the Mueller (Weissmann) dossier. When the Report was first released I noticed a few curious oddities in the introductory first 12 pages. Mueller cited Joseph Mifsud as a Russian 'asset'; my own experience studying such practices indicated that he was likely connected with Italian intel DIS or related; thus likely on loan to FVEY. Also, Mueller claimed that the DNC server was hacked by Russia, a claim the FBI could never prove in a court case because they never took possession of the server.
In short it seemed Mueller was supporting the Steele Dossier without ever mentioning it. Congressmen Meadows and (?) said that select statements in the Report proved that it was relying on the Steele Dossier. It has since been established that the opening statement in the Report sets the start date of the Russia investigation at a later date than has since been established, I suppose to support operation Crossfire Hurricane.
If the first 12 pages cannot enforce its basis, what value is the rest of it? I condemned it right from the start based on my initial reading of those introductory pages. As one or two people on this thread have said, the investigative team is stupid, and/or thinks the public is stupid. Of course they have come to depend on their fawning lackey media to cover their deceptions and lies.
The Mueller Report will register historically as a classic blunder; perhaps AG Barr does not wish to appear complicit in that revelation, especially since he does not have to.
